Poker Fun, Fame and Fortune to Be Had in the Upcoming $75 Million SCOOP at PokerStars
Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No - it’s the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). Back for its 15th edition, this annual online poker tournament extravaganza will pay out at least $75 million in guaranteed prize money across a packed schedule of 121 events (yes – you read that correctly).
Nobody wants to miss out on a chance of the potential fame and fortune that can be had in this extremely popular PokerStars shindig - which has effectively become a traditional fixture in real money online poker - so the key dates to keep clear in your diary are 7-31 May.
Qualifiers Start at 50 Cents
While it’s true that the big money SCOOP is sure to attract big money players, it’s accessible to all via a host of qualifying routes. For example, there’s $300K in added value to be found in the SCOOP Fast Track, with qualifying routes starting as low as $0.50.
Bankroll-Friendly Buy-in Levels
As usual, SCOOP will cater for all players thanks to a set-up that features three buy-in levels: Low, Medium, and High – these range from $2.20 to $25,000. Note that the six SCOOP Main Events come in both Texas Hold'em and Omaha formats, and these events alone will pay out at least $12.5 million in guaranteed prize money.
- $109 buy-in Low NLH Main Event: $2,000,000 GTD
- $1059 buy-in Medium NLH Main Event: $4,000,000 GTD
- $10,300 buy-in High NLH Main Event: $5,000,000 GTD
- $109 buy-in Low PLO Main Event: $200,000 GTD
- $1,050 buy-in Medium PLO Main Event: $500,000 GTD
- $10,300 buy-in High PLO Main Event: $800,000 GTD
And poker isn’t always just about the money! As well as bucketloads of cash, each event winner will receive a sought-after SCOOP trophy, and players will also battle it out for $100,000 in cash prizes across Low, Medium and High Leaderboards. Additionally, there’s the coveted Player of the Series title to aim at!
Everywoman Poker
Following its introduction in the 2022 SCOOP edition, the Women’s Event will be held once again in the packed SCOOP schedule, and will also feature Low, Medium and High offerings. A total of $34,000 will be guaranteed across the three events:
- $5,50 buy-in Low Women’s SCOOP Event: $4,000 GTD
- $22 buy-in Medium Women’s SCOOP Event: $10,000 GTD
- $109 buy-in High Women’s SCOOP Event: $20,000 GTD
