Would You Rather Have a Cup of Coffee or Play the SCOOP Main Event?
The 2022 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) has been a huge success at PokerStars. But good things must eventually come to an end but not without a big bang with many big events still yet to be played out including three massive Main Events with a combined $12 million in guaranteed prize pools.
- SCOOP-L $109 Main Event ($3 million guaranteed)
- SCOOP-M $1,050 Main Event ($4 million guaranteed)
- SCOOP-H $10,300 Main Event ($5 million guaranteed)
The Main Event tickets aren’t cheap, especially the $5 million guaranteed SCOOP-H $10,300 Main Event. But rest assured you don’t need to pay anywhere near the listed price to pay as there are two big paths that can potentially allow you to play for less than a cup of coffee.
Read on to learn how to qualify for all three SCOOP Main Events at a price anyone can afford.
Satellites and Mega Steps
PokerStars is hosting satellites around the clock for all three SCOOP Main Events. Feeder tournaments into these satellites start as low as just $0.55.
This is not all as PokerStars is also hosting Fast Track step satellites starting at just $1.50 which can even have you playing the SCOOP-H: $10,300 Main Event if you make it all the way through as follows.
- Fast Track Round 1 - $1.50 Hyper-Turbo on Demand SNG
- Fast Track Round 2 - $20 Hyper-Turbo SNG
- Fast Track Round 3 - $109 tournament
- Fast Track Round 4 - $1,050 tournament
You can also use this path to win a seat for the SCOOP-L: $109 Main Event by stopping after Fast Track Round 2 or the SCOOP-M: $1,050 Main Event by stopping after Fast Track Round 3. Alternatively, you can choose to skip any of the opening rounds and directly enter a Fast Track Round of your choice based on your time, bankroll, and personal desires.
Spin & Go Satellites
In addition to satellite and feeder tournaments, PokerStars is also hosting SCOOP special edition Spin & Go’s where you can win SCOOP seats and cash depending on what the RNG has in mind for you. For those of you unfamiliar with this format, Spin & Go’s are lottery-style three-max, hyper-turbo sit-and-go’s where the prize is randomly determined after registration is full and before the first cards are dealt.
There are three Spin & Go buy-in tiers to serve a wider range of players at $0.50, $4, and $20. Here is a look at what you can win.
