Missions for Elite Series XL: New Years’ Edition

Winter EXL’s schedule contains a mix of NLH and PLO daily events with buy-ins between €1 and €1,000 and cumulative guarantee of €12,500,000. While the exact list of events hasn’t been released yet, RedStar Poker has already shared which classic missions will accompany the series.

This time, the balance is quite fascinating: nine Revenue missions, two “play any events” missions and two KO missions. Let’s take a look at them in that order.

EXL Revenue Missions

Six missions of this type have different periods for participation:

• Frost to Fortune: earn 2,000 points (€200 in rake) playing any MTT tournaments. Reward — 10x EXL €0.50 Free Blinds (€5 FB in total). Max rewards — 6 per player. Qualification period: 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 15/01/2026 23:59 GMT.
• Santa Special Ultra: earn 5,000 points (€500 in rake) to get a ticket to €15 Santa Special Sat 2025. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 25/12/2025 18:00 GMT.
• Arctic Kickoff: earn 6,000 points (€600 in rake) to get a ticket to €20 Arctic Kickoff 2025. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 08/12/2025 18:00 GMT.
• Northern Crown: earn 12,000 points (€1,200 in rake) to get a ticket to €40 Northern Crown 2025. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 09/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 15/12/2025 18:00 GMT.
• Frozen Fortune: earn 14,000 points (€1,400 in rake) to get a ticket to €55 Frozen Fortune 2025. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 16/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 23/12/2025 18:00 GMT.

Two other missions are weekly and will last 4 weeks with an opportunity to win up to 4 tickets of each type:

• Arctic Contender: earn 20,000 points (€2,000 in rake) to get a ticket to €100 Arctic Contender 2025.
• Arctic Contender Satellite: earn 5,000 points (€500 in rake) to get a ticket to €15 Arctic Contender Sat 2025.

The Challenger Ticket mission — earn 40,000 points (€4,000 in rake) to win a ticket to €250 Winter Challenger Dec25 — divided on three periods, giving an opportunity to win up to 3 tickets in total (1 per week):

• Period 1; 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 14/12/2025 23:59 GMT
• Period 2: 15/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 28/12/2025 23:59 GMT
• Period 3: 29/12/2025 00:00 GMT – 13/01/2026 18:00 GMT

Finally, the Challenger Satellite mission — earn 9,000 points (€900 in rake) to win a ticket to €30 Winter Challenger Sat 2025 — will run for six weeks with an opportunity to get up to 6 tickets in total (1 per week):

EXL Tournament Missions

• Series Grinder: play any 20 EXL events to get a ticket to €15,000 EXL Freeroll. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 15/01/2026 23:59 GMT.
• Mystery Bounty Enjoyer: play any 20 EXL Mystery Bounty events to get a ticket to €15,000 EXL Freeroll. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 15/01/2026 23:59 GMT.

€15,000 EXL Freerol will start at 17:30 GMT on January 16th, 2026.

EXL KO Missions

• Bounty Hunter: knock out 20 players in any EXL PKO events to get a ticket to €15,000 EXL Freeroll. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 16/01/2026 06:00 GMT.
• Bounty Legend: knock out 30 players in any EXL PKO events to get a ticket to €3,000 KO Master Freeroll. Max rewards — 1 per player. Qualification period: 01/12/2025 00:00 GMT — 16/01/2026 06:00 GMT.

€3,000 KO Master Freeroll will start at 18:00 GMT on January 16th, 2025.

Leaderboards for EXL: New Years’ Edition

For EXL Series participants, RedStar Poker will launch three daily leaderboards, divided by the buy-ins of the respective events:

1. Elite Series Low Leaderboard: buy-ins from €1 to €20
2. Elite Series Medium Leaderboard: buy-ins from €25 to €75
3. Elite Series High Leaderboard: buy-ins from €100 to €1,000

They have the same point scoring rules:

• Play any EXL PKO event = 1 point
• KO a player in any EXL PKO event = 1 point
• Play any EXL non-PKO even = 2 points
• Play any EXL Special event = 3 points
• Reach ITM in any EXL event = 5 points
• Reach the final table in any EXL event = 15 points
• Win any EXL event = 25 points

The daily prizes are EXL tickets that vary between leaderboards:

All tickets expire 7 days after they are issued.

Throughout the series three unique Twisters will run, giving players a chance to win cash or tournament tickets.

Daily Elite Series Twister Leaderboard

By playing any Twister game with buy-ins from €0.25 to €200 during the EXL series, you can earn points for a special leaderboard with a daily prize pool of €1,050.

The initial number of points is calculated taking into account two factors: the multiplier and the final place:

Once the starting amount is calculated, it is multiplied by the buy-in before it is finally counted towards the leaderboard:

• Buy-in €0.25 — €1 = x1
• Buy-in €2 — €3 = x2
• Buy-in €5 — €10 = x3
• Buy-in €15 — €20 = x4
• Buy-in €25 — €50 = x5
• Buy-in €100 — €200 = x10

Only the top 150 players at the end of the day will be awarded a varying number of Twister tickets:
