Triton One Set Several New Records

Triton One series is being held in Jeju for the second time. This time, even more players came to the series than the first time.

$3K QQPK Genesis became the largest Triton One event

The tournament drew 1,236 entries. The organizers were forced to add another playing day and roll back the blinds. For comparison, the same tournament in September 2025 set a record with 1,185 entries.

Nguyen Huu Dung won ($586K). He started the final table as the chip leader and held the top spot until the end of the tournament. Watch the final hand on X (Twitter):

A funny coincidence: the final table of this tournament was played out on International Women’s Day. And two women made the 9-max final table of this huge tournament — Nguyen Thi Xoa and Chunnuan Xu.

Series debutant Yuna Kanaizumi won the $5K NLH Mystery Bounty

This tournament set an unusual achievement. For the first time in Triton history, two women met heads-up: Yuna Kanaizumi and Nguyen Thi Xoa. Yes, the same Nguyen Thi Xoa who finished 7th in the $3K QQPK Genesis. What a legend!

Kanaizumi reached the final table with the shortest stack. First she won two double-ups: TT > A2s, AJ > 66. In 6-max Kanaizumi eliminated Kirill Beketov: KQs > AKo, 36 bb pot, queen on the flop. After this hand, Kanaizumi became the chip leader with 49 bb. Starting from 5-max, Kanaizumi eliminated all of her opponents one by one. Watch the final hand on X (Twitter):
