scheeescheee’ Claims Top Spot in 888poker’s KO Games Finale

The Path to Heads-Up

With an average stack of only 26 big blinds, the KO Games Main Event final table kicked off with swift action, led by “scheeescheee” at the top of the chip counts holding 49 big blinds. Less than five minutes in, the UK’s “hell0_br0tti” min-raised with ace-queen, then called the seven-big-blind shove from “St_Corvo,” who held king-queen suited. A quick flush draw wasn’t enough to save “St_Corvo,” who exited in eighth place.

Germany’s “Im_Pulse” followed shortly after. Open-shoving for eight big blinds with king-jack, “Im_Pulse” ran into “sheshhhhhhhh” and their ace-six. A jack on the flop seemed to spell survival, but an ace on the turn sent “Im_Pulse” packing. Despite the early exit, they finished with $15,150, thanks in part to a $10,000 mystery bounty they had snagged on Day 2.

The action didn’t let up as Mexico’s “Elquelele” found trouble with pocket sixes on an ace-high, heart-heavy board. After a half-pot bet from “scheeescheee,” “Elquelele” raised all-in but lost to “scheeescheee’s” queen-deuce, which had hit a pair on the flop.

In another notable moment, Lithuania’s “Raise1ln.” went all-in with king-queen of clubs, only to face “sheshhhhhhhh” holding king-queen of diamonds. With a chopped pot looking likely, fate had other plans: a diamond flush on the river sent “Raise1ln.” to the rail in fifth with a bad beat tale and $16,356 in winnings.

In a game-defining hand, Brazilian “SMCE13” saw their pocket aces fall to “hell0_br0tti”’s queen-ten two-pair after a tense three-way pot. “SMCE13”’s check-raise wasn’t enough to shake “hell0_br0tti,” who moved all-in and watched their two-pair hold strong, knocking “SMCE13” out in fourth with $13,000.

Heads-Up Showdown: ‘scheeescheee’ Seals the Deal

Three-handed play saw “scheeescheee” regain control, taking a large pot from “hell0_br0tti” before knocking them out in third.

The KO Games heads-up began with “scheeescheee” holding a slight chip lead over Montenegro’s “sheshhhhhhhh.” The battle was short but decisive, ending in four hands when “scheeescheee” made trip sixes on the turn, sealing their victory after a fierce run to the top.
