Run It Twice Finally Arrives on 888poker

Run It Twice Finally Arrives on 888poker

After months of limited testing, the new feature, Run It Twice finally became globally available in the room’s cash games on April 15th, 2026.

How Run It Twice Works on 888poker

When the player goes all-in first on post-flop, they get an opportunity to ask for dealing turn and river twice. The feature is available only in the heads-up where both participants went all-in on the flop and agreed to RIT.

The algorithm is simple:

  1. You go all-in on the flop and get called by the single opponent.
  2. You see a pop-up to offer to Run It Twice.
  3. You decide to offer and your opponent agrees.
  4. You both see turn and river being dealt twice.

Fun fact: When announcing the new feature, 888poker ambassador Aaron “abarone68” Barone decided to ask people a hypothetical question about multiple board dealing:

Had a bit of internal discussion on a related topic, was looking for some input.  Hypothetically, let’s say a player get all the money in and they’re drawing dead.  How many times should they be allowed to run it?

To find the answer, he launched a poll, which eventually turned into an accidental joke:
