As the year’s spookiest week rolls in, online poker giant GGPoker is inviting players to trade in a little card‑game ritual for a chance at instant prizes. From October 25 through October 31, 2025, the $1 M Halloween Party promotion asks one simple question: how many times can you see the Jack of Spades? That card shows up, you get a virtual candy. Get enough candies, you “Trick‑or‑Treat” and you could win up to US $1,000 in mysterious instant prizes.

All the $1 M Halloween Party Details

The Halloween Party is a one (spooky) week affair, from October 25 to 31, meaning it’s starting tomorrow.

The base of the entire promotion are Candies. Your goal as a player is to collect them, which in all fairness is pretty easy. You earn one simply by seeing the Jack of Spades, either in their own hand or on the board during a pot they’re involved in.

The candies are your primary objective, but you can’t mistake them for actual winnings. They’re just a means to an end. Your main goal is to collect at least 10 Candies. This is the minimum you’d need to activate the Trick-or-Treat Draw, a mystery prize round with payouts of up to $1,000.

Not every game on GGPoker is going to count toward the Candy hunt. Those that do count include All-In or Fold, Rush & Cash, No-Limit Hold’em, PLO, PLO-5, and Short Deck. So, you won’t earn Candies at Flip & Go tables, Spin & Gold, or in tournament formats like WSOP Express.

There’s one final rule players to keep in mind: if you still have 10 or more Candies left by the end of the day on October 31 (UTC-8), they’ll be automatically redeemed for a prize.
