From the very first day after his return, Lex Veldhuis began showing outstanding results in tournaments on GGPoker.

Lex Veldhuis left PokerStars after 17 years of the partnership

The streamer reported this on Twitter on January 3, 2026:

PokerStars and Veldhuis did not comment further on the termination of the partnership. Recall that at the end of 2021, due to the specifics of legal regulation, Veldhuis was forced to travel from the Netherlands to Belgium in order to stream. And in 2025, Veldhuis did not play poker on streams at all.

A powerful start to 2026 for Veldhuis: first tournament and first victory

Lex Veldhuis launched his first stream on January 3. He played on GGPoker and won the $108 Bounty Hunters Special [7-max] for 120 players live on stream.

But this was not his only victory. He also made a deep run in the $150 Saturday Santa’s Secret KO with 4,549 players (51st place, $2.1K). The stream lasted almost 11 hours.

The next day, Veldhuis secured another win on stream in the $840 Sunday High Roller Bounty Special with 87 players ($20.8K).

And that’s not all. On the third stream, Veldhuis took 2nd place in the $200 Daily 7-max Special for $4,036. What a legend!
