GGPoker Started an Olive Branch Amnesty Process: Players Can Apply Before October 1st, 2025

The “Olive Branch” initiative was announced by GGPoker official website as an instrument to review and restate decisions about banning two categories of players: those who consider themselves wrongfully accused and repentant for breaching of Security and Ecology Policy.

How to Submit an Application for Amnesty

An application must be submitted via e-mail associated with your banned account that was registered on GGPoker.

You must send a message to [email protected] with the subject: Olive Branch Application.

The body of the message must contain the following information:

  • Nickname of your banned account in GGPoker Network
  • Your full name as shown on your identification documents
  • Full and detailed explanation of why you’re requesting reinstatement review
  • Recent documents: proof of identity (POI), proof of address (POA), a selfie holding your proof of identity

All documents must be sent in full with a clear visual display.

Application Submission & Review Deadlines

GGPoker is accepting applications from players seeking amnesty until October 1st, 2025.

From this date, the GGPoker team will consider each application on an individual basis to see if the player deserves the second chance or they were banned fairly and for violation serious enough to not amnesty them. Reinstatement is not guaranteed. Each application will be evaluated “based on the circumstances of the original violation, the time passed, and the applicant’s demonstration of genuine change”.

Results of personal review will be sent to each applicant by November 1st, 2025.

Why GGPoker Decided to Amnesty Banned Players

Players typically rely on the room’s decisions when it comes to bans, particularly because the majority of poker operators don’t publicize rule breakers names or reasons for punishing some players.

However, it doesn’t mean that the room’s team cannot make mistakes or punish someone harsher than their actions deserve. GGPoker fully recognizes these issues, so the “Olive Branch Initiative” pursue simultaneously three goals:

  • To respond to criticism of unfair bans
  • To serve as a tool for correcting the room’s own mistakes
  • To demonstrate the room’s willingness to encourage repentance and good behavior

According to the official statement from GGPoker:

The Olive Branch Program represents our belief that while we must protect our community, we should remain open to redemption when it is genuinely warranted. At GGPoker, we remain committed to providing everyone with a secure, fair, and enjoyable poker experience.
