GGPoker Raises the Bar (Again) With $300M GG World Festival

Yesterday evening, GGPoker announced the return of what is now the richest series in online poker history, its 2026 GG World Festival. In a little over a month, May 3 through June 9, players will be battling it out for $300,000,000 in guaranteed prizes, which is a 50 million bump compared to the 2025 edition.

Here is everything you need to know before the World Festival kicks off next month.

What the GG World Festival Has in Store for 2026

In the words of GGPoker, this online festival is designed by poker players for poker players. In practice, that translates to five weeks of hundreds of individual tournaments divided into a four tier system, with approximately 400 events per tier. Apart from the scheduled events, these tiers also apply to the returning GG World Festival Leaderboard, which has additional designated amounts set aside for each of the four tiers.

Here is how that system looks for the 2026 edition:

The 2026 GG World Festival Schedule

The 2026 schedule divided its $300,000,000 GTD over hundreds of events. That said, some are still bound to be bigger (and more interesting than others). Here are the three main events to look out for during the month long festival:

  • May 18 – $525 World Bounty Festival [Day 2] – $10M GTD
  • May 25 – $10,000 GGMillion$ Main Event [Day 2] – $10M GTD
  • June 1 – $1,500 GG World Championship [Day 2] – $10M GTD

GG World Festival Qualifiers

There are multiple paths to entering the 2026 GG World Festival, the simplest one being the extensive schedule of satellites and promotions currently available at GGPoker. Players new to the site can also qualify through the GGPoker Welcome Bonus and the Honeymoon for Newcomers, both of which are active on the site.
