Get Ready for GGPoker.cz as GGPoker Teams up With King’s in the Czech Republic

While it’s true that the world of real money online poker is indeed a wide-reaching industry that allows poker fans from around the globe to collectively enjoy this fascinating and rewarding game, the ‘global’ element isn’t always a literal one. Not all players are able to (legally) take advantage of the offerings of online poker operators, so it’s always good to see access to this or that site expand.

The latest example of this means that poker players in the Czech Republic can celebrate, as GGPoker and King’s Slots have announced that, following the Czech Republic’s Ministry of Finance recently issuing a licence, the shiny new GGPoker.cz will soon open to the Czech market!

GGPoker has certainly made a name for itself as a leading and popular online poker provider in recent years, not least as a champion for recreational players who, importantly, are what keeps the industry ticking along nicely.

Would-be kings and queens of the virtual felt in the Czech Republic will now be able to enjoy the delights of Texas Hold’em and Omaha cash tables, Sit & Go games and online poker tournaments around the clock.

Marco Trucco, Head of Europe for GGPoker, had this to say about the poker world’s latest partnership: “I’m delighted to work with King’s slots s.r.o. to extend GGPoker access to Czech players. We will have a lot to offer the market in 2023 and beyond, including WSOP satellites, massive tournaments, the most exciting cash games, exclusive promotions and more!”

The feeling is mutual, as evidenced by Leon Tsoukernik, majority shareholder of King’s Entertainment group: “We are excited for this announcement and the continued development of our partnership with GGPoker globally. As the leading casino and poker venue in Europe, home of WSOPE, it was only natural for both our companies to come together to introduce GGPoker to our local audience in Czech Republic.”

GGPoker is, of course, a well-known name amongst online poker players. If Kings seems familiar, that’s due to being a key player in the Bricks & Mortar poker world. King´s slots s.r.o. is a subsidiary of VESTAR GROUP which, through King´s Entertainment a.s., operates three casinos in the Czech Republic: King’s Casino Rozvadov, the newly expanded Admiral Casino in Rozvadov and King’s Casino at the Hilton Hotel in Prague. Not surprisingly, then, this will prove a welcome match-up among players.
