Fintan Hand Has Left PokerStars Team After 8 Years

Fintan Hand Has Left PokerStars Team After 8 Years

In November 2025, one of PokerStars‘ longest-running streamers, Fintan “easywithaces” Hand shocked the poker community with an announcement that he was ending his partnership with the brand.

How he explained this decision, who else left the PokerStars Team before Fintan and what is the current list of its public representatives — read all of it in this PokerListings article.

Why Fintan Decided to Say Goodbye to PokerStars Team?

According to his post on X/Twitter, Fintan realized that his time at the company “has run its course” and he decided to move on but will “forever be grateful for the opportunity”:

“I feel weird announcing that I’ve left PokerStars.

It’s been such a huge part of my life that it only feels right to say something. PokerStars made my dreams come true. It was simply too good to be real life.

They paid me to fly around the world and play Poker with my best mates. The duo streams with Benjy were the most fun I’ve had in my life “working”.

Popping me into $5ks and $10ks for fun during lockdown gave me opportunities I never would have had otherwise! (that $5k SCOOP win pretty much bought my first apartment!)

There’s so many people behind the scenes that I’ll miss that have become to feel like a family at the live events.

I can’t thank everyone but want to give a shoutout to Scotty, May, Robin and Brandon!”

Fintan became a Team PokerStars Online member at the same time as Benjamin “Spraggy” Spragg in July 2017.

At the start of the partnership, Fintan was already a familiar face on the British and Irish poker circuits, as well as a popular streamer under his allies easywithaces, with more than 18k of followers on Twitch.

Eight years later, he’s leaving PokerStars as one of the most popular poker streamers in the world, with more than 135k followers on Twitch.

It’s still unclear what Fintan’s planning to do next but he’s continued to stream and play on PokerStars, successfully at that: in the first week of November 2025, he made back to back wins in $530 Bounty Builder High Roller, taking more than $25k.

Other Players Who Left PokerStars in 2025

While Fintan Hand departure from Stars became the most unexpected twist of 2025 so far, he isn’t the first person to say farewell to the brand this year.

In July 2025, English professional poker player Barny Boatman parted ways with PokerStars after a year and half of ambassadorship as a Team Pro UK.

In September 2025, PokerStars Online Team Pro from Denmark Lasse Jagd Lauritsen, more known as WisternJL, also shared announcement of him leaving the team:

Lasse Jagd Lauritsen

After five amazing years with Pokerstars, it’s now time for me to move on. It’s definitely bittersweet as Stars have given me opportunities I could’ve only dreamed of when I first started playing. I’ve grown not just as a player, but as a person, and for that, I’ll always be grateful. I’m really excited for what’s next, and I hope you’ll all come along for the ride.

Wistern became a PokerStars member in April 2021, along with six other representatives from different countries. He came into the brand with 9k followers on Twitch and left with more than 25k, a set of successfully completed challenges and a booming poker community.
