Christmas and New Year Poker Room Promotions
Each poker room has prepared gifts for its favorite players. Freerolls, tournament tickets, increased prize pools, and special promotions — we’ve collected all of them in one article. But first, let’s explain why we decided to write this text as a supplement to our main article about poker room promotions.

Online poker is booming once again
We analyzed cash-game traffic in October and December using the traffic screener on the PokerListings homepage and noticed an unusual trend: in some rooms, traffic increased several times over. Below is a comparison of traffic in October and December 2025 for the five largest poker rooms:

We don’t know for sure what caused this increase. There are no major series like those in September or May. We assume it’s related to the abundance of promotions currently running and continuing almost everywhere until the New Year. Below is a brief overview of each one. You can read about regular poker room promotions in our previous article.
ACR Poker: PokerListings Christmas Daily Freerolls & MOSS
PokerListings Christmas Freerolls on ACR Poker run through December 25 inclusive. Each freeroll guarantees $100. Details here.
The $2.5M Mini Online Super Series is also running on ACR Poker through December 28.
Until December 28, there is also a special tournament: $66 XMAS Special PKO $250,000 GTD — details here.
JackPoker: $4M Winter Wonderland Series
The series runs on JackPoker through January 4. The schedule includes tournaments from $5 to $1K — all in Mystery Bounty format. The biggest tournaments of the series (start times UTC):
- January 4, 17:00 — $50 Big Bang Main Event $80K GTD
- January 4, 17:15 — $1K Mystery High Roller $100K GTD
There is also a Giveaway for depositors and additional tournaments you can enter by knocking out players.
In addition, the Seasonal Winter Quests mission promo is running with rewards up to $20K, as well as the 2026 Giveaway: simply make any deposit by the end of the year, generate $10 in rake, and take part in a draw with a top prize of $2,026 for 10 players.

CoinPoker: Winter Festival Series $10M GTD
The tournament festival runs on Coinpoker from December 26 to January 26 and consists of three series.
Holiday Turbo Mini Series (December 26–30) includes 36 NLHE and PLO turbo tournaments with buy-ins from $5 to $500.
Main feature: all events are turbo format. Even CoinMasters will be played with 8-minute levels.
Players who play 3 tournaments of the same category (Low, Medium, High) in one day will participate the next day in the Daily Second Chance Flipouts lottery, where tickets to the Winter Masters Series will be awarded. There will be 3 lotteries in total — one for each category. A player can participate in all three by playing, in one day, 3 Low, 3 Medium, and 3 High tournaments.
Fresh Start Week (December 31 – January 7) is a satellite series awarding tickets to the Winter Masters Series.
Winter Masters Series (January 8–26) is a tournament series with $8M in total guarantees plus a $100K leaderboard. Main events start on January 25 with buy-ins of $15, $75, and $500, and guarantees of $20K, $75K, and $250K respectively.
WPT Global: $5M Christmas & New Year Gift Giveaway
For deposits made through December 30, players receive various prizes — from tournament tickets to special surprises.
- Deposit $50–$99 — gifts worth at least $50
- Deposit $100–$249 — at least $100
- Deposit $250–$499 — at least $250
- Deposit $500+ — at least $600
You can receive gifts this way daily — they are credited upon logging into the room the day after the deposit.
From December 20 to 31, WPT Global increases guarantees by 10% in 12 tournaments daily — they include “Added” in the name.
PokerStars: $18M New Year Series
The series runs on PokerStars from January 1 to 20. The schedule includes 144 events (317 tournaments).
- January 4 — $109 Sunday Million $1M GTD
- January 4 — $22 Mini Sunday Million Mystery Bounty Special $350K GTD
- January 11 — $75 Sunday Special (PKO) $400K GTD
Main events take place on January 18:

GGPoker: $12M Days of Christmas Gift Boxes & $1M End of Year Thanks2025 Flipout
Through December 26, simply log into GGPoker, click the ornament under the cashier, and receive a gift. Rewards usually include freeroll tickets, Spin&Gold tickets, Battle Royale tickets, MTT tickets, and cash dollars. A new gift can be claimed daily at 08:00 UTC. All tickets are valid for 24 hours.
From December 27 to 31, the $1M End of Year Thanks2025 Flipout will take place — a lottery tournament for players who hit a cooler in cash games (won or lost).
RedStar Poker: Pre-New Year Advent Calendar & Free Blinds Random Rewards
Through December 31, make a daily deposit of €10 or more in RedStar Poker and choose one of three bonuses: free spins, a free bet, or a poker bonus. The poker bonus changes daily and is cleared in parts of €1 for every 200 Status Points (€20 in rake). You have 30 days to clear it.
Free Blinds Random Rewards run through December 29, 23:59 UTC. You must opt in via the Missions section before the promo starts.
Play a certain number of hands at cash tables from €0.05/0.10 and receive a random reward.
Checkpoints are at 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 750, and 1,000 hands.
Rewards are paid out as a big blind package. For example, for playing 25 hands, you can receive:
- 5 big blinds at €0.02
- 5 big blinds at €0.04
- 10 big blinds at €0.05
For playing 750 and 1,000 hands, you can receive
- 10 big blinds at €0.02
- 10 big blinds at €0.05
- 14 big blinds at €1
After completing 1,000 hands, missions reset and can be completed again up to 5 times.
BetOnline: 25 Days of Poker, 12 Days of Christmas & $70K Freezeout Series
Through December 25, complete missions and earn chips for the All-in Shootout freeroll with a $1K GTD (starts at 04:45 UTC) in BetOnline.
Missions:
- Play 50 hands of Boost ($0.25/0.50)
- Play 3 Global Satellites for $5.50
- Play 8 Bomb Pot SNGs for $3.50
- Play 10 Windfall games for $3
- Wager $25 in Christmas slots
Each mission can be completed multiple times. To qualify for the freeroll, you must complete at least 5 missions (5 chips). Completing 51 or more missions awards 40 chips.
12 Days of Christmas
From December 26 to January 6, reload bonuses will be available on deposits. The bonus amount depends on the size of the deposit:
- $50–$100 — $75 bonus
- $101–$250 — $150 bonus
- $251–$500 — $300 bonus
- $501–$1,000 — $600 bonus
- $1,001+ — $850 bonus
Bonuses cannot be cleared immediately. They activate on January 7 and are cleared in increments of $5 for every $10 in rake (50% rakeback). The clearing period is 30 days. It is currently unknown whether bonuses will be cleared separately or as one combined bonus amount.
Freezeout Series $70K GTD
From December 28 to January 4 (excluding December 31), a series of seven identical freezeout tournaments will run, each with a $109 buy-in and a $10K guarantee. Each tournament starts daily at 01:15 UTC. Satellites with buy-ins starting from $1.10 are already available in the lobby.
PokerPlanets: $5K Blizzard Giveaway I & New Year Giveaway II
Play cash games at any stakes in PokerPlanets from December 20 to January 16 and receive a ticket to an all-in shootout tournament.
One ticket is awarded for every 50 hands played.
Maximum of 4 tickets per week.
1 ticket = 1 seat in the tournament.
There will be a total of 4 tournaments:
- December 26 — $1K prize pool
- January 2 — $1.5K
- January 9 — $1.5K
- January 16 — $1K
Tournaments start at 10:30 UTC. You do not need to play them — they are all-in shootouts.
New Year All-in Giveaways with prizes including iPhone 17 Pro, AirPods Pro 3, and more than $3K in tickets.
To participate in the giveaway, you need to make a $50 deposit — you will be automatically registered for the New Year All-in Giveaways tournament (no gameplay required).
There will be 3 tournaments in total:
- December 22 — for players who made a deposit from December 15 to 21
- December 29 — for players who made a deposit from December 22 to 28
- January 5 — for players who made a deposit from December 29 to January 4
You can participate in each tournament by making a deposit every week.

Stake.com: $200 Stake Poker Main Event $200K GTD
$200 Stake Poker Main Event $200K GTD is the first major multi-flight event in the room.
There are 3 flights remaining in the tournament. They start every day at 17:00 UTC. From each flight, 18% of players advance to the combined day. You can play multiple flights, but only your largest stack will advance to the combined day.
The combined day starts on December 27 at 17:00 UTC and begins already in the money (ITM).
KKPoker: Holiday Countdown $950K+ GTD
These are promotions in KKPoker, freerolls, and major tournaments that will run through January 4.
The Holiday Ladder Up promotion: generate $5 in cash-game rake and receive a dice roll. Move along the board and unlock gifts.
The New Year Lucky Draw promotion: play 2,026 hands in FLASH $0.10/0.20 and higher from December 29 to January 3 and receive a token to enter a lottery, with the winner receiving $2,026.
The $3K Santa Free freeroll takes place on December 25 at 14:05 UTC. Winners will receive tickets to the $500 New Year Mystery Bounty $260K GTD.
The $500 New Year Mystery Bounty $260K GTD is a multi-flight tournament. Day 1 flights start on December 20 and 27, and on January 3 and 4 at 13:00 and 17:00 UTC. The combined day starts on January 4 at 13:00 UTC. Top bounty: $26K.
The $50 Jingle Mystery Bounty $150K GTD is a multi-flight tournament. Day 1 flights run on December 20 and 27, and on January 3 and 4 at 11:00 and 17:00 UTC. The combined day starts on January 4 at 15:00 UTC. Top bounty: $15K.
The $30 MVP Mystery Bounty $30K GTD is a one-day tournament. An additional $100 prize will be awarded for knocking out the best players of the year in the apps. The tournament takes place on January 2.
Special tournaments include the $0.25 Goodbye PKO $2,025 GTD (December 31) and the $0.26 Welcome PKO $2,026 (January 1).
