Triton News: Bernhard Binder Secures His First Win In the $125K NLH

The biggest sensation of 2025, Bernhard Binder, continues crushing everything in 2026.

Bernhard Binder secured a $125K Triton NLH win after a 3-max deal

The $125K NLHE went perfectly for the 27-year-old poker pro. For most of the final day and at the final table, Binder held the chip lead.

In 7th place, he eliminated Paulius Vaitiekunas: ATs > TT, 20 bb pot, board QJJ4Q.

In the next hand, Binder won a 48.5 bb pot when he flopped trips against Yosuke Miki. Miki eventually finished in 5th place, losing his remaining 13 bb all-in with ATo against 88 of Kiat Lee.

Danny Tang finished in 5th place. He made an underjam from the BTN with 5 bb holding K3o, leaving half a big blind behind. Kiat Lee called from the SB with QTs. On the river, Lee made a flush.

Jesse Lonis was the shortest stack. In the final hand, he got it in with AJo against Binder’s AQs for a 32 bb pot. Board Q8JTA.

In 3-max, Binder had 49 bb, Lee had 46 bb, and Velasevic had 39 bb. The players looked at the numbers and agreed to a deal. They left the trophy, cap, and $200K to play for.

Velasevic lost his stack the fastest. At the start of the hand, Velasevic had 52 bb, Lee had 36 bb, and Binder had 44 bb. Preflop, Velasevic opened from the BTN with A K , Lee defended the SB with 3 3 , Binder defended the BB with 7 2 .

Flop 9 5 K — Velasevic continued for 3.6 bb, Binder called.

Turn 7 — Binder check-called 11.2 bb again.

River 9 — Binder check-called for all his chips.

Velasevic had 6.6 bb left. He doubled up through Kiat Lee.

Lee finished in 3rd place. Effective stack = 15 bb. Binder opened from the BTN with A 10 , Lee defended the BB with 10 3 . Flop 2 3 5 . Lee check-called 3.6 bb. Turn 2 — both checked. River 5 — Lee shoved (leaving 1/6 bb behind), Binder called.

He couldn’t spin it up from one chip.

Heads-up was played in one hand — watch it in the video. Effective stack = 8 bb.

How Bernhard Binder has been winning everything online and live for a year

Bernhard Binder WSOP Paradsie Super Main Event Winner

Bernhard Binder had an incredible 2025, winning every possible tournament online and live.

First, he won a phased $10K GGMillion$ for $1.83M. Then he won another regular $10K GGMillion$ for $335K.

The cherry on top was winning the $25K Super Main Event WSOP Paradise for $10M, where he defeated Jean Noel Thorel in a 4-hour heads-up.

Binder started playing poker about 5 years ago because his friend Samuel Mullur was already a poker pro at that time. Binder started with cash games, then Spin&Go, and then MTTs. He never played in a stable, working his way up from the very bottom with help from friends. What a legend!

Mehdi Chaoui won the $30K NLH Turbo ($747K)

This victory is notable for two reasons. Mehdi Chaoui became the first Triton champion born in the 21st century (Mehdi is 25 years old). And it’s the first win for a player from Morocco in Triton’s 10-year history.

The tournament followed the best traditions of turbo events. When 24 players remained, 16 of them had stacks of 16 bb or less.

Mustapha Kanit became the bubble boy. Perhaps he used up all his luck pulling the Gold Mystery Bounty for Allison Piekazewicz.

In heads-up, Mehdi Chaoui faced Nguyen Le. The advantage was on the Moroccan player’s side: 19 to 14 big blinds. In the final hand, Nguyen shoved 9 10 , Chaoui called with A 5 . Board 8 A 10 Q 7 .
