“I don’t think tournament poker is poker. It’s a lottery!”: Alan Keating appears in NO LIMIT Docuseries

Five episodes of the No Limit docuseries are already available on YouTube and have gathered more than 750K views. Here’s a short overview of each released episode.

We covered the first episode here.

NO LIMIT Episode 2: Welcome to Paradise

Viewers take their seats in the poker room together with the main characters. The central figure of this episode is Faraz Jaka and his students. We learn that Jaka teaches not only poker, but also meditation and mindfulness — all to achieve victory in the game. The episode also features Daniel Negreanu explaining what goes through his mind during a hand. And we also see a husband-and-wife duo at the same table — Alex and Kristen Foxen.

NO LIMIT Episode 3: Next in Line

It turns out that the docuseries actually has more main characters than we were introduced to in the first episode. In Episode 3, viewers meet Alexander “Wolfgang” Seibt — the biggest poker YouTuber with 1.68 million viewers. His poker YouTube Shorts have revolutionized the world of poker content. We also meet coach and influencer Lexy Gaven-Mather (156K YouTube subscribers). One of them will get very lucky in this episode, and one of them won’t.

NO LIMIT Episode 4: Best in the World

Blinds Up! In this episode we are introduced to some of the strongest players in the “young guns” category. They are Adrian Mateos, Jesse Lonis, and Tony “Ren” Lin. We learn interesting facts from the biographies of these players. Jesse Lonis shows his trophies and plays some basketball.

NO LIMIT Episode 5: Heroes and Villains

Finally, one of our favorite episodes. It is dedicated to the icons of the poker world: the legendary Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, and Alan Keating. There is an interesting twist with Alan Keating: he doesn’t play tournaments at all and doesn’t consider them a true form of poker. But even he couldn’t resist the $25,000 Super Main Event $50M GTD. How a cash-game player with a VPIP close to 100 will perform in tournament poker — you can see the beginning of his journey in Episode 5.

New episodes are released every Tuesday and Thursday.
