Deepstack Extravaganza NYE: The Venetian Hotel and Casino

The new year kicks off in style as the Venetian wraps up its Deepstack Extravaganza through January 19th, including some of these multi-day tournaments:

• $1,600 MSPT NLHE $500k guaranteed tournament running Jan. 1st – 4th
• $250 NLHE MonsterStack $50k guaranteed running Jan. 5th – 7th

2026 WSOP Circuit Las Vegas (Winter): Planet Hollywood

19 WSOP events span this series that will take place at Planet Hollywood from January 1st to the 12th, and which includes these signature tournaments:

• $1,125 PLO $50k guaranteed running on January 3rd & 4th
• $2,200 NLHE $100k guaranteed which runs on Jan. 7th & 8th

2026 Signature Series: The Wynn Las Vegas

After the WPT leaves town, the staff get a few days to breathe before they jump into the Signature Series which runs from the 5th through the 19th. Part of the series includes these big tournaments:

• $600 NLHE $200k guaranteed tournaments w/ multiple day 1’s that runs from Jan. 5th to the 8th
• $1,100 NLHE $400k guarantee tournament is on from the 8th to the 11th

2026 Deepstack Showdown: The Venetian Hotel and Casino

Just as the New Year Series wrapped up, the next series begins as there is no rest for the weary at The Venetian! The Deepstack Showdown runs from January 19th through February 8th, and some of the bigger tournaments in January that will draw a crowd are:

• $400 NLHE UltimateStack $75k guarantee with multiple starting flights, running January 19th to the 21st
• $600 NLHE UltimateStack $150k guarantee which spans from January 22nd to the 25th, also with multiple day 1’s

Finally, LAs Vegas poker wraps up the month with the 2026 PGT Kickoff at the PokerGO studio at Aria with 6 tournaments over 5 days! From January 26th to the 31st, the 6 tournaments on the schedule are:

2025 The Gardens Winter Series: The Gardens Casino (Hawaiian Gardens, CA)

The suburbs of Los Angeles will play host to The Gardens Winter Series, on through January 11th, and finishing off this spectacular series of poker is the $1,100 NLHE $500k guaranteed running Jan. 2nd-5th. Most of the big action was in December, but there are a number of smaller one-day tournaments in January that are perfect for those with smaller bankrolls!

2026 Winter Poker Open: Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa (Atlantic City, NJ)

The east coast gets into the live poker scene a few days after the partying on New Year’s Eve as the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa welcomes players for the Winter Poker Open, on from the 3rd to the 18th with these marquee events:

• $400 NLHE $1 million guarantee with multiple starting flights is on from the 3rd to the 7th
• $600 NLHE Deepstack $2 Million guarantee with multiple starting flights runs from January 7th through the 11th
• $3,500 NLHE Main Event with a $3 Million guarantee and multiple starting flights is on from January 10th through the 15th
• $2,200 NLHE PKO with a $1 Million guarantee starts on January 13th for 4 days – also with multiple day 1’s
• $580 NLHE Monster Mirror Mystery Bounty has a $250k guarantee and wraps up the series from the 16th to the 18th

2026 WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel – Casino, (Hollywood, FL)

Sun kissed poker players will be flocking to the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida for the WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open, a massive series that runs from January 6th through the 20th. Included in the list of tournaments are these main events:

• $600 NLHE Deep Stack Seniors $2 Million guarantee that runs Jan. 7th – 12th
• $1,100 NLHE Platinum Stack $250k guarantee that plays out from Jan. 10th to the 13th
• $400 NLHE Deep Stack $200k guarantee that starts Jan. 12th and finishes on Jan. 15th
• $800 PLO Deep Stack $100k guarantee that goes from Jan. 14th to the 16th
• $25,500 NLHE event that is scheduled for Jan. 15th and 16th

2026 WSOP Circuit Choctaw (Winter): Choctaw Casino Resort, (OK)

The WSOP Domestic Circuit series heads to Choctaw for one of the biggest stops outside of Las Vegas when 33 events will be held from January 7th to the 19th, and included on the schedule are these key tournaments:

• $500 NLHE Monster Stack $100k guarantee that plays out from Jan 7th – 9th
• $400 NLHE 40+ Years tournament on Jan. 12th
• $500 NLHE Gargantuan $100k guarantee that starts Jan. 15th and goes for 3 days
• $1,700 NLHE Main Event with a $1 million guarantee that will run from January 16th to the 19th

2026 LA Poker Classic; Commerce Casino (CA)

The LA Poker Classic is one of THE tournament series on the west coast that happens in the first two months of the new year!  Starting on January 7th, this mammoth series concludes on March 1st at the Commerce Casino in east Los Angeles. While the schedule has yet to be released, it is sure to contain plenty of action for poker players of any bankroll!

2026 Colorado Showdown Series: Bally’s Black Hawk (CO)

One of the best poker rooms in the Midwest is located in Black Hawk, Colorado and in January, Bally’s will play host to the Colorado Showdown Series which is on from January 14th through the 25th.  The feature tournaments on the schedule include:

• $400 NLHE $100k Guarantee that plays from Jan. 14th to Jan. 18th, which features multiple day 1’s
• $1,100 NLHE $300k guarantee that starts January 22nd and wraps up on the last day of the festival on Jan. 25th

2026 WSOP Circuit Thunder Valley: Thunder Valley Casino Resort (CA)

The WSOP US Circuit will ramp up in a big way in January as Thunder Valley plays out to one of the 5 domestic stops in January alone. On from Jan. 15th to the 26th, 16 tournaments are on the schedule, and the key tournaments to keep your eye on are:

• $400 NLHE $250k guarantee w/ multiple day 1’s and plays on Jan. 15th to the 18th
• $1,700 NLHE Main Event with a $500k guarantee that runs from Jan. 23rd to the 26th

2026 WSOP Circuit Tunica: Horseshoe Casino (MI)

The WSOP US Circuit swings through Mississippi and Horseshoe Casino as the 4th stop in the US in 2026. From January 22nd through February 2nd, the schedule has not been released as of yet, but expect more than a dozen rings up for grabs, including the $1,700 NLHE Main Event that will don the schedule.

2026 WSOP Circuit Florida: Harrah’s Pompano Beach (FL)

Finally, the 5th stop on the US WSOP Circuit in January heads south to Pompano Beach and Harrah’s for the circuit event from January 29th to February 9th. While the Main Event will go down in February, the three events in January that will play out include:

• $400 NLHE Double Stack Opener with a $50k guarantee on Jan. 29th
• $600 NLHE Mini Main $250k guarantee that runs from Jan. 29th to Feb. 1st with 5 opening flights to qualify
• $400 NLHE $25k guarantee on January 31st

2026 WSOP International Circuit Czechia: Kings Casino (Rozvadov, Czechia)

One of the biggest series of the month happens in Czechia as Kings Casino plays host to the WSOP International Circuit which runs from the 1st to the 13th of January. Included in this series are these tournaments:

• €330 NLHE Mini Main Event €50k guarantee with 6 starting flights and spanning from January 1st to the 5th
• €600 NLHE Mystery Bounty €300k guarantee with 3 starting flights and spanning from January 5th to the 8th
• €1,500 NLHE Main Event €1 Million guarantee with 5 starting flights and running from January 9th to the 13th

2026 WSOP International Circuit Canada: Deerfoot Inn Casino (Calgary, Alberta)

One of three stops on the International WSOP Circuit in Canada heads to Calgary, Alberta where Deerfoot Inn hosts 18 events from January 7th to the 19th and among the tournaments are:

• $400 CAD NLHE which has multiple starting flights and runs from the 8th to the 11th
• $1,000 CAD NLHE tournament that will play out on Jan. 12th & 13th
• $400 CAD NLHE Monster Stack with multiple day 1’s and scheduled for 3 days from the 13th to the 15th
• $2,200 CAD NLHE Main Event that starts on Jan. 15th, also with multiple day 1’s and crowns a champion on Jan. 19th
• $3,000 CAD High Roller NLHE that will play on the last two days of the festival, Jan 18th & 19th

2026 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour London: The Poker Room (London, England)

One of the marquee stops on the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour hits London, England on Jan. 8th for 11 days of poker action, consisting of 10 tournaments. Of the 10, the ones to watch include:

• £500 NLHE £100k guarantee w/ multiple starting flights, on from Jan. 8th to the 11th
• £340 NLHE £150k guarantee w/ multiple day 1’s and runs from Jan. 11th to the 14th
• £2,500 NLHE with a £100k guarantee that is scheduled for Jan. 14th and 15th
• £1,250 NLHE with a £250k guarantee and multiple day 1’s that is on from Jan. 15th to the 18th

2026 888poker Live – Madrid – Casino Gran Via – (Madrid, Spain)

Madrid, Spain will play host to 888Poker Live as it makes its return from January 11th to the 18th, and among the 9 tournaments, the ones that will make the most noise include:

• €220 NLHE that runs Jan. 11th to the 13th with multiple chances to play
• €330 NLHE Mystery Bounty that runs Jan. 13th and 14th
• €880 NLHE with multiple starting flights that runs from Jan. 14th to the 18th
• €1,500 NLHE that plays out over two days on January 17th and 18th

2026 WSOP International Circuit Morocco: Es Saadi Marrakech Resort (Morocco)

Marrakech will once again play host to the International WSOP Circuit as it jumps from Canada to Morocco. From January 16th to the 25th, poker players in southern Europe and northern Africa, as well as those around the world – will flock to Morocco to try and win a ring. While the schedule has yet to be released, expect it to look similar to the last time the WSOP came to Es Saadi Marrakech Resort.

2026 UK Poker Championships: Dusk Till Dawn Nottingham (Nottingham, England)

Dusk Till Dawn is one of the more famous spots to play poker in England, and they will welcome the world from January 17th to the 26th as the UK Poker Championships and its 11 tournaments take over the card room. Among the bigger tournaments on the schedule are:

• £280 NLHE $100k guarantee that runs January 17th to the 22nd w/ multiple starting flights
• £1,100 NLHE 7 max with a £50k guarantee that plays out from Jan. 21st to the 22nd
• £550 NLHE with a $500k guarantee and multiple day 1’s that will span January 22nd to the 26th

2026 PokerStars Open Campione: Casinò Campione (Italy)

PokerStars sent its events team to northern Italy and the Casino di Campione from January 23rd to February 1st with 14 huge tournaments! 

Among those on the schedule include:

• €2,200 NLHE that plays out from January 27th and 28th
• €1,100 NLHE w/ multiple day 1’s that has a €1 Million guarantee that runs from January 28th to February 1st
• €4,975 NLHE event on January 31st
• €400 NLHE Mystery Bounty that runs the last two days of the series on January 31st and February 1st

2026 WPT & WPT Prime Cambodia: NagaWorld Integrated Resort (Phnom Penh, Cambodia)

Finally, the WPT and WPT Prime make their way to Cambodia for their first festival after the World Championships on January 30th to February 4th at NagaWorld Integrated Resort. While the complete schedule has not been released yet, we do know that the $3,500 NLHE $1.5 Million guaranteed main event is on the schedule and promises to be a thrilling tournament to conclude the series!

There is no reason any amateur or pro poker player should be sitting at home playing the blues with the amount of live poker happening in January 2026 and this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to every series happening at every casino and poker room around the world, forget about what’s happening online in January!
