2026 DeepStack Extravaganza II: The Venetian Hotel and Casino

The ongoing DeepStack series continues in April and May as the Venetian hosts its last event before the summer kicks off. 64 tournaments are on the schedule that begins on the 1^st and continues through May 17^th – some of the April highlights include the 6 multi-day tournaments with six-figure guarantees and the long list of $200 and $400 buy-in tournaments for the smaller bankrolls. Tournament poker lives all year at The Venetian!

2026 US Poker Open: Aria PokerGO Studios

The PokerGO Studios are set to welcome the elite in poker as the US Poker Open is set to kickoff on April 10^th for two weeks of higher roller action. The 9-tournament schedule begins “small” with the $3,500 NLHE Event and culminates with the $15,700 event on April 21^st.

2026 Spring Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker: Caesars Palace

Allen Kessler may have a hand in this 8-day series slated for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as this all $500 buy-in series will feature a different variant on every day.

2026 Wynn Signature Series: The Wynn Las Vegas

April 20^th will see the Signature Series kick off at the Wynn in Sin City – a two-week poker extravaganza featuring 25 events, all with buy-ins below $1,000. Several events are multi-day tournaments, including the first off, a $400 NLHE event featuring a $100k guarantee.

World Series Circuit Events in the US & Canada

2026 WSOP International Circuit: Playground Poker Club, Montreal, Canada

9 more rings are set to be awarded in April at the home of poker in Canada, including the start of the $2,500 CAD Main Event on April 2^nd which is guaranteeing $2.5 million in prize money. The $5k High Roller with $500k guaranteed is set to start on April 5^th, and there are 2 more mystery bounty and 2 more PKO’s scheduled to wrap the series up on April 7^th.

2026 WSOP Circuit Illinois: Grand Victoria Casino, Illinois

The first US circuit event of April is set to take place from April 2^nd to the 13^th in Illinois at the Grand Victoria with 18 rings on the line for those participating in the series. The $1,700 NLHE Main Event starts on April 9^th, and the $400 Monster Stack kicks off on April 6^th.

2026 WSOP Circuit Lake Tahoe (Spring): Caesars Republic, Lake Tahoe, Nevada

18 rings will be contested in Lake Tahoe this month, with the next WSOP Circuit event beginning on April 16^th for 12 days of poker fun. The $1,700 Main Event is set to start on April 24^th, with 14 of the balance of the tournaments all with a $400 buy-in to suit any poker player searching for WSOP glory in Nevada!

2026 WSOP Circuit Mississippi: Horseshoe Casino & Hotel, Mississippi

At the same time as the circuit event in Nevada, another WSOP Circuit series kicks off in Mississippi with another 18 rings up for grabs. Players have the $400k main event starting on April 24^th, along with 11 tournaments with guarantees posted, and most tournaments at or below a $400 buy-in.

2026 WSOP Circuit Texas: Texas Card House, Austin, Texas

Despite the news from elsewhere in the state, the WSOP Circuit event in Austin is still scheduled to happen starting on April 23^rd, featuring 18 ring events including the $1,700 NLHE Main Event beginning on April 30^th with a $1 Million guarantee and the $600 NLHE multi-flight event starting on the 23^rd with a $500k guarantee.

Poker Series Elsewhere in the United States

2026 Winnin’ O’ The Green: Parkwest Bicycle Casino, California

We profiled this series last month as it started mid-Month and wraps up on April 16^th. The $300 Quantum $300k guaranteed wraps up on April 4^th, just in time for the $300/$600 NLHE Mega Millionx XXXI to begin on April 5^th – 12 days of action leading to the final table where a total of $1.5 million is guaranteed!

2026 Minnesota Poker State Championship: Running Aces Card Room, MN

13 days of poker is set to crown a state champion in Minnesota, starting on April 7^th through the 20^th with 19 tournaments on the schedule. 3 multi-day tournaments include the $1,100 NLHE Main Event with a $500k guarantee scheduled to start April 16^th and most tournaments below $400, this promises to be a popular event for those with smaller bankrolls!

2026 WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown: Seminole Hard Rock Casino, Florida

21 days of poker in the sun under the shadow of the giant guitar is scheduled to invade South Florida this month as the WPT returns to the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. Over 70 tournaments pack the 3 weeks of the series with buy-ins starting at $200 and ranging up to the $3,500 NLHE WPT Main Event featuring a $3 million guarantee – starting on April 24^th, and the $10k Deep Stack with a $500k guarantee on April 26^th!

2026 RunGood Series: Washington, DC, MGM National Harbor

12 tournaments will be contested in the shadow of the US Capitol from the 13^th to the 19^th of April, all minus the $1,300 NLHE Main Event with a $250k guarantee with buy-ins at or below $500. 

2026 MSPT East Chicago (Spring): Ameristar Casino Hotel, Indiana

The six-day series begins April 21^st with 11 events on the schedule, culminating with the $1,100 MSPT Main Event starting on April 23^rd, and features a staggering $300k guarantee!

2026 Spring Poker Open: Borgata Hotel & Casino, NJ

East coast poker players get a break from the travel starting on April 22^nd when the Spring Poker Open kicks off 17 days of poker fun! One of the big draws will be the $1 Million guaranteed $600 NLHE event starting on April 23^rd, and the $500 Almighty Stack starting on April 30^th, which features a $750k guarantee!

2026 MSPT Festival Wisconsin: Potawatomi Hotel & Casino, Milwaukee, WI

On from April 28^th through May 3^rd, the MSPT invades Wisconsin for an 11-tournament schedule, with a $1 million guarantee main event starting on April 30^th that has a buy-in of $1,100, and several other tournaments with buy-ins below $300.

2026 PGT Texas Poker Open – Champions Club Texas, Houston, TX

Staying in the south, Houston will play host to 35 tournaments starting on April 29^th and going through May 11^th – many tournaments with buy-ins below $500 and most being a one-day tournament. The main event is scheduled for May 7^th that has a $1 million guarantee and a $2,200 buy-in but embedded in the series are 5 PGT High Roller events that are sure to draw an audience!

Poker Series in Europe

2026 Irish Open: Royal Dublin Society, Ballsbridge, Ireland

Arguably, one of the most popular series on anyone’s calendar continues to be the Irish Open, running until April 6^th. 24 more tournaments still need to start to complete the 2026 schedule, including the €10k 8-max, two more mystery bounties, and several non-Hold’em variants with buy-ins starting as low as €115!

2026 World Series of Poker Europe: Hilton Hotel, Prague, Czechia

15 bracelets will be on the line when poker’s biggest stars flock to Europe to compete at the 2026 WSOP Europe. Buy-ins start at €565 with the NLHE Colossus and PLO Plossus events and topping out at the €20,800 NLHE 8-max High Roller – huge events with bigger buy-ins should create an exciting 12 days of action this spring!

2026 WSOP International Circuit France: Pasino Grand Patrouche, Aix-en-Provence

31 events are scheduled to take place in France for the next WSOP Circuit stop beginning on April 10^th and wrapping up on the 21^st. The super-sized schedule includes a majority of tournament buy-ins at €300 and lower, but also features the €1,500 Main Event starting on April 16^th.

2026 GKUPT London: The Poker Room, London, England

The 10-tournament schedule from the GKUPT hits London starting on April 9^th for 11 days of action, which features a number of £500 and lower tournaments, as well as the £1,250 NLHE Main Event with a £250k guarantee starting on April 16^th.

2026 The Malta Spring Poker Festival: Portomaso Casino, St. Julian’s

21 poker events will hit the felt in Malta this April over 9 days, starting on the 19th, including several mixed variants along with NLHE. Buy-ins start at €150 and range up to the €1,100 NLHE event starting on April 26^th.

2026 European Poker Masters & Beyond: Gran Casino Andorra

After the WSOP Europe wraps, poker players will cross the continent to Andorra for the European Poker Masters starting on April 20^th. One week of poker has 7 days of action and 7 events scheduled, all starting with buy-ins at €550. The €2k Main Event with a €150k guarantee kicks off April 24^th to close the series out.

2026 EPT Monte-Carlo: Sporting Monte-Carlo

One of the most prestigious events on the calendar is when PokerStars brings the EPT to Monte-Carlo. 46 tournaments, some with buy-ins as high as the €250k Super High Roller on May 4^th, and as low as the €330 events scheduled for May 3^rd & 10^th. Many of these bigger events should be streamed online, giving everyone a chance to see the action live!

Poker Series in Asia and Oceania

2026 Asian Poker Tour Taipei: Red Space, Taipei City

The super-sized Asian Poker Tour is holding 172 poker tournaments in Taipei from April 22^nd through May 3^rd! Buy-ins are starting as low as $2,500 NT ($80 USD) and range all the way up to the 800k NT ($25k USD) NLHE event happening on April 27^th. Truly something for everyone in Taipei!

2026 Aussie Millions: Crown Casino, Melbourne

The Millions is back! Starting on April 24^th, Australia welcomes the poker elite for 17 days of amazing poker action with 18 tournaments on the schedule. The higher roller series features tournaments with buy-ins starting above $1k AUD ($700 USD), including the $25k AUD Main Event starting on May 3^rd!

As you can see, there’s a poker tournament out there in any neck of the woods for any level of buy-in, so there’s no excuse for not getting out there and €taking your shot at glory in a tournament near you!
