A Full House: Cash Carnival, Awards Season, and Mystery Bounties at JackPoker

Just a little under two weeks ago, we wrote an article about how busy March was looking at JackPoker, with Melting Pots and Flop Races running side by side. Apparently, that was all just a warm up, as the poker client has since come out with three more promotions — a return of the well known Cash Carnival and the debut of two newcomers, Sherlock’s Mystery Bounties and Awards Season Quests.

Here are the details for all three!

The Return of the Cash Carnival

The Cash Carnival comes around every now and again to JackPoker. This time, it happens to be in town between March 23 and April 19, equipped with $500,000 in payouts through Bomb Pots and Instant Cash. Similar to previous editions, the mechanics behind this Cash Carnival edition are fairly simple:

  1. Find a cash table, either 6-max NLB, PLO5CB, or PLO6CB
  2. Participate in Bomb Pot hands
  3. Catch random Cash Drops up to 10,000 BB.

For the hand to be eligible, at least six players must participate in it.

According to JackPoker, Bomb Pots trigger every 3–7 hands, while Cash Drops occur every 30 hands on average.

Awards Season Until Mid April

Until April 12, players have the chance to play for their share of the $20,000 prize pool as part of the client’s Awards Season Quests.

There are 29 quests in total scattered around three categories: cash games, casino, and tournaments. Players pick one (or all) of the categories and start going through the levels (easy, medium, and difficult). While each level comes with a prize of its own, completing all of them earns you an invitation to a closed Bonus Event with premium rewards.

Sherlock’s Mystery Bounties Close Out the Month

Th last few days of March are designated for a knockout tournament named $2.5M GTD Sherlock’s Mystery Bounties. While this is a standard knockout tournament by design, it comes with a mystery bounty catch — every knockout that happens during the tournament between March 30 and April 19, is rewarded with a secret prize, which can individually range up to $4,500.

While all players who manage to knockout opponents receive mystery prizes, they’ll discover what their prize is only after the knockout is complete.
