Are You in Good Form for the MILLIONS Online KO Series at partypoker?

Poker, like so many other sports and games, tends to see players hitting (or losing) form during periods in which it seems they can’t go wrong. It’s never easy actually winning in poker – apart from having to play well, we need to avoid bad luck and get more than our fair share of good luck. Nevertheless, it’s not uncommon to see players following up good results with other good results in subsequent (and more rarely, successive) tournaments. By the way, those players who enjoy online poker tournaments and have yet to win one, just remind yourself that real money online poker offers countless opportunities... and you’re going to have a great time trying!

With form in mind, a certain player at partypoker who has attracted attention is “o Paz ta ON” who - players beware! - is a force to be reckoned with during the MILLIONS Online KO Series which runs until 30 May. The clearly talented player managed to top the 1,257-strong field in a recent edition of the $109 buy-in Sunday Party - flagship weekly tournament at partypoker that gained attention recently when the poker room’s own Team Pro Patrick “Patrick_Leonard” Leonard managed the rare feat of winning the same fixture back-to-back. Note that Leonard failed to make the prizes when attempting his hat trick - the poker gods can be quite fickle...

If you’ve yet to give the Sunday Party a try, don’t forget that bankroll-friendly qualifiers mean that everyone can take part. Take a look at the final table payouts of this recent edition to see what you can expect to win if you run deep. Note that all but one of the nine finalists won at least a four-figure sum!

The Grand Ends in 3-Way Deal

Meanwhile, Patrick Leonard was amongst the 55 runners who battled away for top honours (and considerable amounts of cash!) in the $1,050 buy-in Grand tournament that paid out a juicy $60,000 prize pool.

After a final table that was a Who’s Who of poker was eventually whittled down to three players, they opted to make a deal. Samuel Vousden took third place for $9,044, with Thiago Taira runner-up with a tidy $12,502 and, topping the pile, New Zealand’s David Yan pocketed $12,736.
