Damir Savio opened for a min-raise from the cutoff with A Q and was called by Jingchun Yu from the button with K J . The start-of-the-day chipleader Massimo Rossi let it rip with A 9 with a huge three-bet jam to 5,975,000. Savio called and Yu got out of the way.
Instead of hitting the rail in fourth place, Rossi won the biggest pot of the day and headed into the chip lead after his nine paired up on the 4 10 2 9 5 runout.
