Patrick Chan from Brooklyn, New York, enters the 2015 WSOP November Nine second-to-last in chips but he's definitely not counting himself out of this world championship event. Chan told us he sees the November Nine as a huge opportunity as a poker pro and he plans to make the most of it. Chan said his parents have been very skeptical about his decision to play poker professionally. He hopes that seeing him on TV, and the guaranteed seven-figure payday, will help convince them he's got what it takes to earn a living playing poker. Before making the November Nine Chan had already racked up a long list of live cashes totaling over $500k. He's been making scores since 2010 but he's never been this close to $7.68 million and the title of world champion. Check out the full November Nine video interview with Patrick Chan and check back on PokerListings this fall to how he does at the final table.
