Tom “durrrr” Dwan Books Marathon Session
At 9 p.m. last night Tom “durrrr” Dwan took his seat on Full Tilt, where he has remained for over 15 hours and counting.
Over the 15-hour session Dwan has taken two breaks with a combined duration of just three hours.
The other 12 hours have been spent grinding everything from $200/$400 No-Limit Hold'em to $500/$1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha.
Dwan's first session came at the nosebleed stakes for 116 hands of $500/$1,000 heads-up PLO against Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies. Dwan pocketed over $287k before taking his first break, lasting 1 hour.
Upon his return, he sat at $200/$400 NLHE and $200/$400 Cap PLO. With a combined loss of over $42k, Dwan took his second break of the session, returning just two hours later.
Dwan re-joined the action at $200/$400 NLHE and $200/$400 Cap PLO, this time making just under $14k before picking up where he left off with Sahamies.
The second $500/$1,000 PLO session lasted for 596 hands with Sahamies taking back $138,672.
While losing to Sahamies, Dwan also put in a couple of hands of Six-Max PLO, losing $17k before joining a series of $200/$400 PLO Six-Max games which would run straight for over nine hours and counting.
At press time, Dwan was up just $26k from the $200/$400 tables, putting him up $129,590 after 4,059 hands total.
Cole South, who joined the $200/$400 game this morning, stuck around for four hours, long enough to earn himself $203,134.
Thanks to the win during his second match against Dwan, and some profits from a Cap PLO game, Sahamies managed to keep his losses down to just $35k.
