Public Nominations Open for Poker Hall of Fame

Who's next for Poker Hall of Fame?

Have a favorite poker player you think belongs in the Poker Hall of Fame?

Submit your nomination to the WSOP for consideration via starting today and any time before August 15.

On August 16 the full list of submissions will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee which will select the candidates eligible for 2013 induction (adding any names they feel were missed).

The final nominee list will then be released in September and sent to the official Poker Hall of Fame voters, which includes current living HOF members (19) and select media.

Voters will rank the nominees in order of preference. Each Hall-of-Famer can also add a write-in candidate who won’t be eligible in 2013 but will be added to the 2014 list.

The two finalists with the most votes (and at least a majority) will be inducted during a ceremony at the Main Event in November.
