Rob Hollink
To win the European Poker Tour Grand Final 10,000 Euro No-Limit Hold'em event, Rob Hollink had to fight a tough, four-day battle against 211 entrants.
The tournament, held in Monte Carlo's Sporting D'Hiver, offered a prize of 2,110,000 Euros. Among the more illustrious participants in the event were such poker stars as Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer, the tennis sensation Yefgeny Kafelnikove, and the French pop star Patrick Bruel. Before Rob won the 2005 EPT Championship event, Marcel Luske, his fellow Dutchman, predicted "Rob is your future EPT Champion."
Rob is an exceedingly experienced Omaha and Hold'em tournament player whose list of achievements includes victories in Birmingham, Austria, Amsterdam and Paris.
