Richard Lee is a semi-retired Texas resident who played in both the 2005 and 2006 World Series' of Poker. Considered an amateur poker player, Richard had never before cashed in a poker tournament prior to his sixth place finish in the 2006 World Championship, which earned him $ 2,803,851. His best poker finish previous to the 2006 World Championship was 12th place at the 2005 Grand Slam of Poker held in Los Angeles.

Richard is married and has three grown children.
