Phil Hellmuth to MC charity event

Mr. Philanthropist Phil Hellmuth
The world's best No-Limit Hold'em player has agreed to lend his MC talents to yet another charity event.
Phil Hellmuth will be providing his usual antics at the 2007 Old School Vs. New School Celebrity Poker Tournament, hosted by Indiana Pacer Jermaine O'Neal.
The tournament is scheduled to kick off at 2 p.m. at the Mirage Hotel on Saturday Aug. 11. The event will feature a celebrity "tip off" cocktail reception on Friday and an after party at the JET Nightclub at the Mirage. The winner will take home a cool $50,000 as well as the title of Old School vs. New School Celebrity Poker Champion.
NBA megastars like Tracy McGrady and T.J. Ford have already agreed to attend along with NBA Legend Julius Erving. Many NBAers are expected to play.
The real winners are the two children's charities for which the event is held. The proceeds will be split between Operation Smile and the American Cancer Society.
O'Neal is a world renowned basketball player with numerous accolades to his name including four community service awards as well as countless all-star appearances.
Hellmuth is considered by many to be the best tournament No-Limit Hold'em player in the world. He has won more World Series of Poker bracelets (11) than any other player. His skill and entertaining table manner have made him a media darling.
