Mansion Poker moves to iPoker network
Mansion Poker is getting one heck of a renovation by joining one of the industry-leading poker networks.
Players on Mansion Poker are now officially part of the iPoker network, which means they will have access to more opponents and even get a crack at the coveted European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP).
The transition should be smooth for all Mansion players as accounts will be moved onto the iPoker network complete with user settings and player points. Player points have been converted into new Mansion Club Points, a new and improved points system.
iPoker uses Playtech software and offers Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo and Seven-Card Stud with players of all skill levels. Over $10 million is awarded in guaranteed prize pools every month on the iPoker network. There are over 30,000 active players on the iPoker network on a regular basis. Sites like Titan Poker, CD Poker and Paddy Power Poker all call the iPoker network home.
Mansion Poker was established in 2004 and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most secure online poker rooms due to the fact the site was regulated and licensed by the Government of Gibraltar.
The site has always been a major player in the online poker world and used to host the Poker Dome, a custom-built $12 million venue in Las Vegas, that saw players like Rodel Tuazon and Gavin Smith win hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Mansion was also the site where poker power couple David Benyamine and Erica Schoenberg got their first sponsorship deals in poker.
Currently Mansion Poker has a very public face in England as it is the shirt sponsor for the famous Tottenham Hotspur football club.
