The online high stakes landscape is rapidly changing and no player is making more noise than Viktor “Isildur1” Blom.

Over the last 24-hour period the young Swede has been on an absolute tear recording 7,710 hands on PokerStars and crushing his opponents for nearly $200,000.

Blom’s biggest victim was none other than new Vancouver, Canada, resident Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond.

Galfond, who plays on PokerStars as MrSweets28, played 3,826 hands of $25/$50 PLO last night, mostly against Blom, and got lit up for $176,505.

The former New Yorker wasn’t the only one to feel the wrath of Blom, however, as Norwegian Andreas “skjervoy” Torbergsen played 2,217 hands of $25/$50 PLO and got smoked for $121,000.

By the time Blom finally called it quits he had been playing for over 26 hours and was up a total of $193,778.

Known for his stamina at the virtual tables Blom has recorded an astounding 276,498 hands on PokerStars this year and is now up over $500,000.

Blom wasn’t the only winner in the high stakes games last night, however, as both mTw-DaviN (+$88k), le kork (+$87k) and compris (+$77k) all finished in the black.

Fall has traditionally been one of the busiest seasons for online poker but with Full Tilt out of commission and PokerStars not open to U.S. players, it’s anyone’s guess as to who the big online cash game star will be this year.

Right now, Blom would have to be considered the front-runner.
