GUKPT wraps up final leg

The Grosvenor U.K. Poker Tour played Leg 10 last weekend, its last installment before the Grand Final in London takes place at the end of the month. Taking the final free seat to the Grand Final was Paul Bracken.

With two Day 1s, a Day 2 and Day 3, Bracken had to make his way through quite a large playing field to earn his win.

It came down to heads-up between him and Paul Gardner. Their match-up played out to a crucial hand where Bracken pushed all-in on a flop of 9-T-6.

After getting a call from Gardner, Bracken flipped over a 9-6 against Gardner's T-5.

The turn brought a queen and the river was a seven to give Bracken the hand and the tournament win.

Bracken took home the top cash prize plus an added £10,000 and a seat in the GUKPT Grand Final.

The Grand Final main event will take place at the Grosvenor in London Nov. 29 through Dec. 2. It has a £3,000 buy-in.

• Nov. 27-28: £500+£30 No-Limit Hold'em Double Chance Freeze Out
• Nov. 28: £200+£20 No-Limit Hold'em Re-buy
• Nov. 29 - Dec. 2: £3,000+£150 No-Limit Hold'em Grand Final Main Event
• Dec. 1: £500+£50 Pot-Limit HO (Hold'em/Omaha)
