Full Review

Fair Poker is another of the new poker rooms on the iPoker network initiative developed by PlayTech. The network took a hit with the U.S. online gambling ban but is recuperating rapidly and has a high influx of players. Games are somewhat loose, with lots of casino players and new recruits, and there are often some very high-value promotions through Pokerlistings that continuously draw players to the site.

Fair Poker and the iPoker network have been successful in quickly building a good player base and now offer what could be the best deposit and withdrawal options in the world. The software looks good and offers good playability with easy-to-navigate tables and lobby.

Games offered include Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud, Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo. Ring games, as well as heads-up, sit-and-go and multi-table tournaments are all offered. A little strange is the fact that it offers Seven-Card Stud only in the high version.

Fair Poker features plenty of tournaments and freerolls with great value. The traffic volume overall is in the middle segment of the industry. Real-money player statistics as of May 2012 show 10000 ring-game players at peak hours and 55000 tournament players at peak hours.

Overall, Fair Poker offers relatively loose games and good software that plays well, even though the game pace is on the slow side. The software is updated frequently to ensure safety and stability, with little downtime as a result.

Tournaments and Freerolls

Fair Poker hosts many tournaments with buy-ins as small as $1.10, ranging all the way to several hundred dollars. The tournaments are well populated, fast and have good structure. Play at any level is generally juicier and looser than most sites.

Fair Poker is famous for hosting many different qualifiers to big live events all over the world; it is sending players to EPT and WPT events in droves and also offers some relatively juicy guaranteed tournaments from time to time, including their monthly $100,000 guarantee.

For players interested in sit-and-go tournaments Pokerlistings highly recommends trying out Fair Poker and taking a chance at winning big at its jackpot sit-and-gos.

Software and Graphics

The Fair Poker software and player base are part of the iPoker network developed by PlayTech. The graphics in the Fair Poker software are nice and clear, the functionality is good and the software is updated regularly without significant downtime.

The latest version of Fair Poker's software supports play at eight tables simultaneously and multi-table play runs smoothly. It offers a mini-view function that allows four tables tiled at standard resolution, and the tables are relatively small and easy to grasp - overall, well-suited for multi-table play.

The graphics are well matched and the software allows the player to choose from a list of attractive 3D-like avatars. The table functions are easy to learn and well oriented on the table. The Fair Poker software runs in a green color that is easy on the eyes and allows for longer play time before your eyes get tired.

The Fair Poker software has a few useful special features not available on all poker sites. One nice feature is the ability to save the hand history locally on the computer, something that is very good for deeper analysis.

Soft Competition

Play at most tables at Fair Poker is relatively soft. Most volume is in the No-Limit Texas Hold'em games events where the viewed-flop percentage is normally in the 40s or 50s. However, players will sometimes be able to find a full table with pre-flop percentages all the way in the 60s. The players are also quite passive, so it is easy for skilled players to be winning players.
