Dwan Smashes Hansen for $368k

As good a year as it’s been for Tom “durrrr” Dwan online, it’s been equally disastrous for Gus Hansen.

Hansen, who started the year off hot by winning nearly $2 million in the spring, has fallen to the wayside in the past few months and last night certainly didn't help.

The Great Dane logged onto Full Tilt Poker at about 10 p.m. last night looking for action and Dwan was happy to accommodate.

The pair opened up numerous tables of $500/$1,000 CAP PLO where they played over 2,000 hands in a 10-hour span.

It was not Hansen's day as Dwan seemed to have his number in almost every hand. At a certain point Dwan was up over $500k but Hansen made a late comeback to finish with only $368k in losses.

Hansen is now down nearly $1 million in 2010 and will have is work cut out for him over the next few months if he wants to finish the year with a profit.

On the other hand Dwan has hit the $4.8 million mark and could potentially break $5 million before the week is complete.

Dwan and Hansen weren't the only ones to play high stakes online poker last night though. Daniel "Kid Poker" Negreanu made an appearance on PokerStars' $100/$200 tables where he won $60k.

Negreanu has been hot lately with $454k in profit over his last 1,870 hands. Impressive considering Negreanu has himself admitted he's still learning the naunces of online poker.

Finally Ivey continued his strong play by winning nearly $350k while NEKOTYAN was one of the biggest losers with $600k in damage over the last 24 hours

Below are some of the biggest pots from last night. For more hand replays head to our online poker stats page.
