Travel woes.

The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a pre-packed carry-on, a Nexus Fast Pass and priority boarding for your first-class afternoon poker news flight.

Got a tip for a future 3-Bet? Tell us all about it in the comments.

Today in the 3-Bet we find Griffin Benger off to an auspicious start, Nanonoko joins the Hong Kong Stars and a chance to put some money on the Global Poker League line.

1) Empty Seat on Benger Flight

It's never a good start to show up late for your first day of work.

At least with Sam Grafton, one of the commentators for the inaugural season of the Global Poker League, his lack of clock management only cost him 15 minutes.

Benger didn't even make it to the country he was scheduled to work in:

If you've watched Grafton or Benger on their Twitch live streams you know they're two of the brightest, funniest poker personalities in the game and will certainly make for a powerhouse combo for the GPL.

With our intimate knowledge of Malta traffic, we just hope Benger can make the tip-off tomorrow at noon EST.

2) Nanonoko, Lavallee Join as Wildcards

With the announcement of Randy 'nanonoko' Lew and Jason Lavallee as the latest wildcard additions to the Hong Kong Stars and Montreal Nationals, respectively, that leaves just Maria Ho as the final Team Manager to name her picks for the LA Sunset.

What kind of player do you add to a powerhouse team that already has Fedor Holz, Olivier Busquet, Eugene Katchalov and Chance Kornuth?

Ho herself might be the best pick talent-wise but she's so in demand and has so many projects on the go her schedule might not make it possible.

If we were betting people (more on that below), we might put a few bucks on a couple names instead of just one. Here are the announcements from Lin and Ladouceur:

3) Place Your Bets on GPL

One of the most intriguing aspects of the Global Poker League business plan is the inclusion of real-time betting on the outcome of matches.

Get your CC ready because you can start putting your money on the line on your favorite players starting tomorrow at 12 EST:

Action starts with the six-max tables tomorrow but the really interesting betting might be on the heads-up matches, which start Wed. with Timothy Adams vs. Justin Bonomo. Check the early lines/match-ups below:
