Bodog Poker is one of the edgier online poker rooms with aggressive marketing, a young pro team that includes Evelyn Ng and Tatjana Pasalic and a "high roller" theme.
Founded in 1994 by Calvin Ayre, the Bodog brand has been through a number of changes over the years and, at one time, had a music label and a mixed martial arts promotion, although online gambling was always the primary business.
In 2008 Bodog changed its business model and decided to offer its brand to licensees around the world.
Bodog’s main licensee is the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group, which runs Bodog.com, offering online gambling services in the U.S. while Bodog Europe operates Bodog.co.uk in Europe and Bodog.ca in Canada. Haydock Sports runs Bodog88.com, servicing Asia.
Bodog.com is still one of the biggest online poker rooms in the world and thanks to a popular sportsbook it’s home to some of the worst poker players on the internet.

Bodog Poker hosts a ton of tournaments every day with buy-ins ranging from $1 all the way up to several hundred dollars. For the most part tournaments are busy, fast and offer good structures. Although most online poker rooms still offer at least one “classic” looking table option, Bodog Poker has moved on with its futuristic floating design. Love it or hate it, you can’t deny it’s very functional.
Players have complete control of the felt color on the tables and can use a slider to customize their playing experience.
Multi-tablers are in luck as the client supports four tables simultaneously and three in its unique picture-in-picture view. It’s fast and easy to tab between different tables.
