Fortune Wheel Spin to Win

Since October 15th, PokerStars has treated players with the Bounty Builder Series. There’s no secret that progressive knock outs is one of the most popular poker tournament formats on the online poker scene, and with a $20M GTD, the Bounty Builder Series has attracted many players competing for massive bounties.

Today, Sunday the 29th, the whole series will culminate, seeing as it will reach its culmination with not one, but two Main Events

Bounty Builder Series Main Event

Through roughly two weeks now, the Bounty Builder Series has been running and players have had the opportunity to choose from progressive knockout tournaments with all different Buy-Ins. It’s an educated guess that a lot of players have been looking forward to tonight, seeing as it’s finally time for the two Main Events to be played.

First, we have the $109 Main Event, which starts 18:05 CET, holds a $1M GTD. PokerStars player should be familiar with the Buy-In considering we’ve seen the same in the legendary PokerStars tournament Sunday Million, which of course also will bring a lot of action today.

The bigger of the two Main Events, also starting 18:05 CET, has a $1 050 Buy-In and a $1,25M GTD. Considering the Bounty Hunter Series has been a massive success this far, it’s not unlikely that we will see the guaranteed prize pools been shattered.

There’s of course a lot of other interesting tournaments in the series tonight as well. One thing that makes an online poker tournament series attractive for the wide mass of poker players is a lot of different Buy-Ins and PokerStars really managed to create a good tournament schedule that ensures all players, no matter their bankroll, can take part of some good bounty action. Today, tournaments are running in the Bounty Builder Series with Buy-Ins starting from as little as $11.

One tournament that will be extra interesting to follow the action in today is the $5 2000 Titans Event. High Rollers always bring that little extra dramatic feeling and this $400 000 GTD tournament will surely see many skilled poker players hunting massive bounties. As previously mentioned, there are a lot of good PKO tournaments running tonight, so players would be very wise to browse the PokerStars lobby as soon as possible and create a tournament schedule that fits their respective bankroll and Sunday poker grind schedule.

It should also be made clear that even though the Main Events are being played tonight, there’s also a whole day of bounty action tomorrow, Monday 30th, to look forward to. If you haven’t participated in the Bounty Builder Series yet, there is still time, and considering this is one of many good tournament series that PokerStars treat players with during the poker year, you don’t want to miss out on this.

Good luck on all players participating in the Bounty Builder Series on PokerStars tonight. It will be very interesting to see which people will cement their legendary status after claiming the victories in the two Main Events. We hope you will have a lot of fun knockout action today!

The Euro poker community has been treated to some incredible series lately, and the trend continues as partypoker brings its renowned MILLIONS series to the Emerald Isle. The partypoker MILLIONS Irish Festival is set to be a week-long festival of poker, offering a plethora of events and a guaranteed prize pool that will have players heading to the incredible city of Dublin from all corners. Here’s everything you need to know about this must-attend poker festival.

When and Where is This MILLIONS Festival?

The festival is scheduled to take place from October 31st to November 5th at the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin. This five-star venue epitomizes traditional luxury and is completed with old-school glamour, along with a first-class spa, wellness facilities, and a heated pool. The poker venue is top-of-the-range, with a mixture of classy and modern poker vibes during some fantastic tournament and cash game offerings.

The Juicy €700,000 Main Event

The pinnacle of the festival is undoubtedly the Main Event, boasting a hefty €3,000 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000. A staggering 70% of this amount is dedicated to the Main Event alone. Scheduled from November 1st to 5th, this tournament is expected to attract a large field of both professional and amateur players. If you’re looking for inspiration, look no further than Mario Trattou, who recently won the partypoker MILLIONS Malta Main Event for €93,000.

More Than Just Hold’em; Get in the PLO Streets!

While the Main Event will be the focal point, the festival is far from a one-event pony. Pot Limit Omaha enthusiasts should mark November 2nd on their calendars for the €2,500 Omaha Championship.

For those who enjoy the thrill of knockout tournaments, the festival kicks off with a €400 Mystery Bounty event. The “mystery aspect” of this tournament has been gaining traction in both online and live poker, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game. All it takes is knocking out one player and pulling that top prize envelope to potentially take more than 1st place prize money!

Great Poker Tournament Value

For players on a budget, the €550 Grand Prix from November 3rd to 5th offers a more affordable buy-in with a €100,000 guaranteed prize pool. This event is expected to attract a large number of entries and is a must-play for anyone attending the festival.

A couple of days ago, we wrote about the biggest winnings and the hottest action last weekend in GGPoker’s Bounty Hunter Series. Given the full tournament schedule, it’s no surprise that this series is one of the contenders for best online poker series of the year. Since the series officially kicked off October 15th, players have been treated with more bounty poker tournaments than one could wish for. It’s an educated guess that we are not the only ones who are excited for the upcoming weekend. Let’s take a look what juicy tournaments GGPoker brings us this weekend, and let us also see who won the $25 MYSTERY BOUNTY Mini Main Event!

DinPP Wins the $25 MYSTERY BOUNTY Mini Main Event!

October 24th, we saw the $25 MYSTERY BOUNTY Mini Main Event conclusion. The number of total entries, 107 713, says something about the popularity of this tournament. When all was said and done, it was player “DinPP” who took home the title. Including bounties, he won $76 944.

The tournament also featured a top Mystery Bounty of $200 000. This was won by player “homempeixe777” after he had a showdown prelop with A Q against user X’s J J . Board ran out K Q 7 5 4 and homempeixe777 unlocked the golden chest and was awarded the top bounty. Even though he ended up at place 1 509 out of the 10 238 who advanced to day 2, he was the biggest winner in terms of prize money.

Congratulations to DinPP, homempeixe777 and everyone else who accomplished great things in the Mini Main Event!

The Upcoming Weekend

Moving on to the upcoming weekend in the Bounty Hunter Series schedule, 27th to 29th. We sure have a lot of exciting bounty online poker tournament action to look forward to. We have several flights to the $210 MYSTERY BOUNTY Main Event. Day 2 will be played November 6th and 687 players have qualified so far. Just like the Mini Main Event, the big brother has a top mystery bounty, in this case a $500 000 one. There’s no doubt all the players are eager to receive the golden chest!

We also have many day 1 flights to the Global MILLION$ Bounty Edition. The tournament, with its $1M GTD, has been a very popular tournament throughout the series this far. Day 2 is scheduled to the last day of the weekend, Sunday the 29th, so make sure to check out the GGPoker client and see what starting flight fits your schedule.

Sunday will also treat players with the $630 SUPER SIX HR. The tournament is played in a turbo structure and has a $30 000 GTD. Other high stakes action will be found in the various $525 Bounty Hunters HR tournaments. These tournaments are not only played on the weekend; they run every day of the series, and the always bring good action.

One of the best things with the Bounty Hunter Series is that it has tournaments for everyone. People can find tournaments this weekend with Buy-ins ranging from $5 all the way up to $630. It would be a very wise move to browse through the GGPoker lobby and find the tournaments that suits you.

We wish everyone who’s participating in the action over at GGPoker this weekend good luck!

PokerStars first official trip to Cyprus has proved successful in more ways than one and, potentially, opened the door to more autumn fun next year.

The European Poker Tour (EPT) bandwagon rolled into the coastal city of Kyrenia for 12 days of poker on October 11. Once there, Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa played host to the inaugural EPT Cyprus and its 59 tournaments.

Top of the bill was the $5,300 EPT Cyprus Main Event, but there were plenty more highlights. The $1,100 Eureka Cyprus main event was the first focal point for players and what a focal point it was.

Another Eureka Moment for PokerStars in Cyprus

A total of 2,659 players anted up to create a prizepool of more than $2.5 million. That level of interest allowed the winner, India’s Ankit Ahuja, to take home $362,365. Not only that, the live tournament now stands as the third largest Eureka main event ever.

Also pulling in big numbers during EPT Cyprus was the $10,300 High Roller. 407 players entered the event, which means the eventual winner, Ilia Pavlov, took home $787,400 and the title after beating Selahaddin Bedir heads-up.

Another highlight was the PokerStars x Poker Power Women’s Bootcamp Showdown. A total of 40 women with no poker experience embarked on a boot camp-style training schedule eight weeks ago. Among the tasks participants were asked to complete were regular mentoring sessions from PokerStars pros such as Jennifer Shahade, as well as weekly practice poker games.

PokerStars EPT in Cyprus 2023

The course culminated with 10 players making it through a series of home games. Those players were flown to Cyprus for a final showdown. Britain’s Louise Ulrick, a 55-year-old math teacher, won the tournament. Now, with the backing of Poker Power and PokerStars, she’ll take part in December’s EPT Prague main event.

Another Marvelous EPT Main Event

Of all the highlights from EPT Cyprus 2023, the main event shone brightest. Entering a new country is always full of unknowns, but any feelings of trepidation were quickly quelled when 896 players from 70 different countries anted up in the $5,300 main event.

Of those 896 players, 424 exercised their right to re-enter, taking the total number of entries to 1,320. That turnout makes EPT Cyprus one of the biggest ever European Poker Tour main events. It also gave Gilles Simon, a 24-year-old from the Netherlands, a career-high payday worth more than $1 million.

EPT Cyprus 2023 Main Event Result

1Gilles Simon$1,042,000
2Andrea Dato$652,200
3Jose Gonzalez $465,425
4Halil Tsyurek$358,075
5Yannick Schumacher$275,425
6Nikita Kuznetcov$211,850
7Bjorn Kozenkai$162,925
Victor Yugay $125,350

PokerStars’ EPT has bounced back spectacularly in recent years. Despite a post-Black Friday slump and increased competition from other poker tours, it remains a staple brand for players around the world. EPT Cyprus was a testament to that and the perfect warm up for one of the tour’s most popular stops, Prague, which gets underway on December 6.

It was a couple of weeks ago that we received the information that North American Poker Tour (NAPT) would make its long awaited comeback to the live poker scene. Considering the NAPT has been on a hiatus and that it was twelve years ago since it ran, we can really understand the excitement in the poker community.

The NAPT will be played in Las Vegas November 4th-12th, and we have a lot of exciting poker action coming up. The $1 650 Main Event will attract many players, as will the $5 300 NAPT NLH High Roller, which players have the opportunity to qualify for.

The NAPT just became even better, as it only days ago became official that the event will be live streamed, meaning poker enthusiasts all over the world will have the opportunity to watch some world class live poker action!

NAPT 2023 Live Stream

PokerStars, who are the owners of NAPT, announced that three days of the tour will be live streamed. The events that will be streamed is day 3 of the $1 650 Main Event, the Main Event final table, and the $5 300 High Roller final table.

NAPT 2023 Live Streaming Schedule:

November 10th 12:30 PSTNAPT Las Vegas $1 650 Main Event Day 3
November 11th 13:00 PSTNAPT Las Vegas $1 650 Main Event Final Table
November 12th 13:00 PSTNAPT Las Vegas $5 000 High Roller Final Table

It is through PokerStars’ Twitch channel, and/or YouTube channel that the event will be streamed. There’s no doubt that PokerStars is aiming to create a deluxe live streaming experience, considering they’ve assembled a well-recognizable commentary team consisting of James Hartigan, Joe Stapleton, Maria Ho, Griffin Benger and Nick Walsh.

It should also be noted that Brazilians will have the opportunity to watch the live stream with Brazilian commentators in form of Felipe de Paulo and Flavio del Valle. The Brazilian stream will be on PokerStar’s Brazilian Twitch- and YouTube-channels.

Qualify for the Legendary “The Big Game” During NAPT!

That’s not all, folks. We have more amazing news to share with you. Of course, we all remember “the Big Game” from the good ol’ days when poker was broadcasted frequently on TV. The Big Game, just as NAPT, went on a twelve-year break, but 2011 they made their comeback.

For its 2024 season, the producers behind the Big Game are now looking for two “loose cannons”, who will get the opportunity to play some high stakes live poker against some of the greatest poker legends of all time. November 5th, exclusive satellites will be hosted in Las Vegas during NAPT. These satellites will be played in the form of shootout poker tournaments, and 20 winners will be advancing to November 6th-7th, which will be the casting stage. Two lucky players, decided by a panel of judges, will be staked $50 000 and get to participate in the Big Game.

As you can hear, there’s a lot going on in Las Vegas during NAPT. Whether you want to play the historic comeback of NAPT or try out for the Big Game, the gambling capital of the world surely is worth a visit this November.

There’s no denial GGPoker is one of the most respected actors on the online poker scene. It did not take long before announcing their Bounty Hunter Series, before the talk started, poker players speculating that this would one of the best tournament series of the year.

GGPoker were so eager to get the ball rollin’, so they started the series a couple days prior to the official start date, which was October 10th. Since then we have seen the bounties flying, winners being crowned and a ton of poker action being played on the GGPoker client.

Last weekend was the second official weekend of the Bounty Hunter Series, and players were treated with awesome tournaments throughout. We had some big cashes, as well as several flights for the more hyped up events. Let’s take a look what happened October 20th-22nd in GGPoker’s Bounty Hunter Series!

666, The Number of the Beast

In terms of higher Buy-Ins, six $525 Bounty Hunters HR tournaments where played Friday through Sunday. These online poker tournaments where quite similar in structure, however there were some differences here and there; for example, one tournament had a higher percentage of the Buy-In moved from the prize pool to the bounty. AKmakii took home what was deemed the Main Event out of the 525 Bounty Hunters HR tournaments, cashing $113 184.

$525 Bounty Hunter HR Tournaments Winners October 20th-22nd:

October 20thV Saprykin$37 283
October 20thadelmarblade$6 107
October 21stEKT_Denis$33 031
October 21stWohooooooooo$8 197
October 22ndAKmakii$113 184
October 22ndGarbageMan316$12 715

The $525 Bounty Hunters HR is a great tournament if you have the bankroll, and it should be mentioned this was not a “second weekend only” exclusive feature: the tournament runs through all the series, so make sure to get in on some serious bounty action!

Main-, Mini- and Global MILLION$ Flights

As we have mentioned earlier, three tournaments stand out in the overall amazing Bounty Hunter Series Schedule.

The $50 Global MILLION$ Bounty Edition have seen many flights being played not only this weekend, but also since the series started. Day 2 will be played October 29th and so far, 16 653 total entries have been made in the day 1 flights and 1 680 players have qualified for day 2. There are still more than 50 day 1 flights to be played, so make sure not to miss out on this one.

Flights to the $25 MYSTERY BOUNTY Mini Event where also played this weekend, and believe it or not, but the final table is being played right now when this article is being written. Seven players are remaining competing for the first prize of $76 368, not counting the bounties. A total 25 682 entries (counting re-entries as well) where made in the tournament.

And then of course, we were treated with some day 1 action of the $210 MYSTERY BOUNTY Main Event. A total eight flights were played during the weekend, and so far, we have 544 players in to day 2, which will conclude the whole series November 6th. 5 208 players have entered various day 1 flights this far, and there are still a lot left.

We indeed had a nice weekend in the Bounty Hunter Series, and we cannot wait to see the conclusion of the series!

We’ve officially passed the halfway mark in one of – if not the best – campaigns we have ever run on PokerListings. That being said, a player is still far away from being guaranteed the win, and there are still a lot of important leaderboard points to be collected. That means that the $12 400 WPT World Championship package is still up for grabs, even for players that have not yet played any of the online poker tournaments in PokerListings Vegas Series, a series of tournament that will see one lucky player claiming a ticket for the poker experience of a lifetime!

Next PokerListings Vegas Series on Thursday October 26th

With the first tournament being held August 17th, PokerListings partnered up with WPT Global earlier this year and decided to treat poker players with maybe the best opportunity ever to be offered. Through the eight tournaments in the series, the top nine players will compete for important leaderboard points on each of the tournament’s final table. After the last tournament in the series, which will be held November 23rd, those who are top 27 at the leaderboard will advance to the grand final (date yet to be announced). The one who fins the grand final will be awarded with a package to the WPT World Championship Package, worth a staggering $12 400!

The WPT World Championship will be played in Las Vegas this December, and with its $10 400 Buy-In, we are surely to expect one of the most intriguing live poker events of 2023. Except for the Main Event Buy-In, the package also includes $2 000 to help the winner with travel expenses, a sum surely big enough to cover flights and accommodations.

The next opportunity to compete in PokerListings Vegas Series is on Thursday October 26th. The tournament has a $20 Buy-In and will start 18:00 GMT/20:00 CET. The password for the tournament is badabing.

In the current leaderboard standings, we see “Kairaajaa” and “hiltim” sharing the first place spot with 25 500 points each. However, as previously mentioned, there are still a lot of points to be distributed. Considering this, it’s most definitely possible for a “dark horse” to enter the race with three tournaments remaining and claim a top 27 spot and thus be qualified for the grand final event, which will see one lucky player being sent to Las Vegas for the tournament of their dreams.

As previously mentioned, the tournament password is “badabing”, and the tournaments are of course being played over at WPTGlobal. Be sure to mark October 26th in your calendar: this is an opportunity you do not want to miss out on!

Good luck to all players participating in the recommended tournaments in the PokerListings Vegas Series!

Spooky scary skeletons, carved pumpkins, Pennywise the Clown, creepy clowns and poltergeists. Even though there is lots of sweet candy to eat, Halloween is for sure a scary holiday.

However, the only thing that is scary about the $500 000 GTD PKO Halloween Special over at ACR Poker, is the scary good online poker that will be played. You do not want to miss out on this!

$500 000 GTD PKO Halloween Special

We are talking about one big PKO online poker tournament that has an insane guarantee that surely will tickle the feathers of many poker players out there. We’re not lying when we’re saying the tournament is big: a whopping 45 day 1 flights will be held over at ACR Poker (formerly known as Americas Card Room).

The day 1 flights runs every day 22nd-29th of October. The day 1 survivors will advance to day 2 which is played October 29th (of course after the last day 1 flight has finished), and the whole tournament will see a winner crowned on day 3, October 30th. The tournament has a $55 Buy-In.

ACR Pro and legendary poker player Chris Moneymaker, who won the WSOP Main Event back in 2003 which played a big part in the international “poker boom”, is thrilled that the appreciated PKO Halloween tournament makes its return: “We ran this special Halloween PKO last year and dare I say it was a spooktacular success. Now it’s back in a similar format and players will have another chance to scare up some big winnings. Whether they choose to spend it all on candy or not is their choice”.

Qualify for a Cheaper Buck

You’re getting intrigued? Well, you should! This is one among many golden nuggets over at ACR Poker. Players who want to participate in the Halloween Special PKO, will be delighted to hear that the opportunity is given to qualify for the event for a mere $5,50 through satellites which will earn you a free entry to any of the day 1 flights.

ACR Poker has been a recognized actor on the online poker scene for many years, and there’s really no surprise they’re once again treating players with an appealing online tournament like this one. If this is what they bring us on Halloween, one can only imagine what kind of poker egg the Easter Bunny will bring us next year?!

Good luck to all players participating in the $500 000 GTD PKO Halloween Special, and remember not to eat too much candy!

Play for a Good Thing

A fun addition to the Eagle Cup VII, comparatively with the prior edition, is that certain special tournaments have been added to the schedule. For example, 23rd of October a breast cancer awareness tournament. This is a really nice gesture of Global Poker and proceeds will be going towards the Breast Cancer Foundation.

Another extra-added tournament this year is the “Totally Terrific Tongue Twister Day Tournament” which will be played November 8th.

Poker really is an amazing game which has been around for god knows how long now. Throughout all the years however, poker has been male-dominated, and not only how to make it more inclusive for women in poker, but also how to ensure a growth of new players, have been hot topics discussed within the poker community for decades, and the debate just keeps getting more and more important.

One must admit that PokerStars and Poker Power has made their contribution to this subject. Earlier this year, the two organized an eight-week poker boot camp exclusively for women with no prior poker experience. During the EPT Cyprus, 10 of the boot camp participators played the “PokerStars x Poker Power Women’s Bootcamp Showdown”, which saw Louise Ulrick emerge victorious and win a package to EPT Prague this December!

Ulrick Relied on Her Mathematic Skills

The boot camp program organized by PokerStars and Poker Power meant women with no prior poker experience would go through an intense program with practice poker games every week and mentoring from PokerStars TeamPro Jen Shahade. A total 40 women participated in the boot camp, and at the end of the program they locked horns against each other in a series of Home Games Tournaments, where the top 10 would be flown to Cyprus during the EPT and play the showdown. The lucky winner would be awarded with a package to EPT Prague which will be played December this year.

The final 10 featured women from all different backgrounds, for example actress Yvonne Mai, photographer Ines Lafosse and luxury marketing-student Laura Lebailly. Emerging victorious however were former math teacher Louise Ulrick. Even though Ulrick, as was the criteria for all participators, didn’t have any poker experience prior to the boot camp, one could assume her background in basic mathematics was an important tool on her journey to victory.

PokerStars EPT 2023 Cyprus: Winner Louise Ulrick

Ulrick cherished the moment she won the showdown with her K 3 :

“I can’t believe it. Obviously winnnig was the objective of coming, but you never quite think it’s going to happen. I didn’t feel confident when we were practicing live. I felt clumsy with all the cards and the chips and everything. But today came together. Anybody who is thinking about learning poker, it is such a good game to play. You can learn so much about yourself. There are online resources that are great to have a go at. And have a go!”

After taking part of research that showed 55 % of women not feeling poker was inclusive to women, PokerStars and Poker Power launched the second edition of their women-only boot camp. This year’s edition was a success, seeing th numbers of participators increasing by over 400%.

Now, Ulrick will have time to enhance her poker skills even more, seeing as she will prepare for the EPT Prague, which will be played December 6th-17th.

How the Event Works

JackPoker will offer 29 quests, which you’ll be able to complete whenever you want throughout the three weeks of the event, starting October 13th. The quests will be split into three different categories:

  • Poker Cash Games
  • Online Casino

Each category will also come with three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard. Players will need to complete “Easy” tier quests before they can move on to more difficult ones. What’s great is you can earn different bonus rewards for completing each quest, difficulty level, and category.

If you want more information for each quest, head over to the “Quests” tab, where you’ll find detailed descriptions of each quest’s requirements and rewards.

Jack Halloween Quests Rewards

Once you start participating in the event, you’ll earn bonus rewards for each completed quest, with the total prize pool totalling up to $20,000. Different difficulty quests will give you varying prizes. For example, in the Cash Games category, there’s an Easy quest to play 70 NL hands, for which you’ll earn $5 bonus cash. When you finish all Cash Game Easy quests, you’ll get $15 bonus cash.

However, the rewards don’t stop there; players who complete all difficulty quests of a specific category will also earn an additional hidden reward. To find out what the extra reward is, you’ll need to reach the High difficulty quests in each category.

For instance, when you complete all quests in the Cash Game category, you’ll earn a free ticket to enter the flipout game with a $30k guaranteed prize pool!

The busy summer period might have  come to and end at the Banco Casino in Bratislava, but it’s far from over this this year when it comes to grand poker events! With the likes of the Coolbet Open, Winamax Poker Series, Poker-SM Live, and the Banco Masters some great events were presented to fellow poker players all across Europe. The most recent Banco Masters came to its conclusion last week, where Péter Kamarás took down the Main Event and the Pot Limit Omaha tournament back-to-back!

The popular Hungarian player collected € 35,906 with both victories combined, an extraordinary performance from a player who’s first cash dates back to 2006. It seems that he is on a huge run this year, having already collected 23 cashes in various live poker events across the world. This week it all kicks off at Banco Casino with the Slovak Series Poker. After its success of last year, a combined guaranteed prize pool of over € 500,000 has been set across a full packed schedule. Among these events, there is a € 300,000 GTD prize pool in the € 250 Main Event.

Well-Respected Kamarás Becomes 36th Banco Masters Champion

The Banco Masters is one of the tournament series of their own, having had numerous of similar events in poker history, it was this time a true valuable moment to be in the capital city of Slovakia. With only 1,282 entries, there would be an overlay of a whopping €37,500 in the Main Event! Many players from neighbouring countries managed to jump into the action last minute to make use of this great opportunity to try and make their €250 buy-in into thousands of Euro’s.

Banco Casino 2023 News: Winner Péter Kamarás at poker table

So did Hungary, which dominated the Final Table with three players. Péter Kamarás, who already had taken down the PLO tournament earlier in the week, managed to top the field and take down the whole lot after having made a deal with Austrian Dominik Matesa. It’s so great to see a player like Kamarás taking down such iconic event as he is already in the poker game since 2006. He is a well respected dinosaur of the poker felts all across Europe, and most definitely it is not the last act at the tables we have seen of him.

Slovak Series of Poker 2023 in Full Swing

For the 7th time in the poker history of Banco Casino it is time for the Slovak Series of Poker. Where it all started with a buy-in of €165 and a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000 in the Main Event, it has become a very popular tournament overall. Nowadays, the Main Event covers a guaranteed of €300,000 and a buy-in of €250, and it is the big question if this guaranteed will even be met. A good indicator was the previous Banco Masters which overlayed eventually.

Sebastian Kotowicz – Winner of Slovak Series of Poker Main Event 2022

However, with a whopping twelve starting flights, and one additional ‘flip&win flight, there is a chance to get yourself qualified for Day 2 until upcoming Sunday. Banco Casino offers festive poker series year in year out, but when we look at the history of the Slovak Series of Poker, the amount of entries always has been wandering around between 600 and 1000 entries. We can’t say it too often, but to make use of value in poker tournaments is key expand your success even more!

Alongside the Main Event the casino is offering more in guaranteed prize pools overall. With events such as the Mystery Bounty, H.O.R.S.E, Ladies Event, Deepstack tournament, High Roller, and a Heads-Up tournament, there is really something for everyone.

Who will be the successor of Polish poker player Sebastian Kotowicz who outlasted an field of 935 entries, scooped €55,170, and crowned himself as Slovak Series of Poker Main Event Champion? Who will bring home the trophy? We will keep a close eye to the action!

The Bounty Hunter Series over at GGPoker, which kicked off last week, has most certainly not disappointed this far. Many players have already claimed their fair share of bounties and tournament wins, for example Brazilian Paulo Brombim, who snatched the $630 SUPER SIX HR and the first prize of roughly $11 700 with bounties included.

Many interesting bounty tournaments are running each day throughout the series, which will conclude November 6th when a winner is crowned in the $210 MYSTERY Bounty Main Event, which not only stands out with its $5M guarantee, but also its top mystery bounty of $500 000.

Sundays have always been the holy day of online poker players, and except for Mini and Main Event flights, players will also find the $25 GGMaster Sunday Bounty in the Bounty Hunter Series schedule. The fourth out of total five stops for the European Poker Tour (EPT) 2023 is currently being played in Cyprus. The beautiful Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa is where player right now are battling it out in the $5 300 Main Event, which is being played October 16th-22nd.

The festival in Cyrpus commenced October 12th with the Eureka $1 100 Main Event; the Eureka Poker Tour and the EPT are sharing the venue, considering they’re both tours by PokerStars. The last hand will be dealt October 22nd in the $10 300 EPT High Roller, however, the three Eureka tournaments and one EPT tournament have already finished. The concluded EPT tournament is the $50 000 EPT Super High Roller, which saw the Spaniard Juan Pardo lifting the trophy!

Juan Pardo: Winner of the $50 000 EPT Super High Roller

A total 30 players registered for the $50 000 EPT Super High Roller and were eager for some serious high stakes-action. Pardo was one of these players, and when play was about to end for day 2, October 16th, Pardo was one of the remaining seven players, i.e. on the final table bubble. Eventually Mikalai Vaskboinikau bid farewell in seventh and players were supposed to end play for the day, however, the remaining players wished to continue with the final table play. This was allowed by the organization and the originally scheduled three day-event would become a 2-dayer.

The six final table players were the ones who would claim their share of the $2 231 460 prize pool. One could assume Pardo was relieved being in the money; moments prior to Vaskaboinikau busting out, Pardo avoided elimination after hitting a three-outer against the aforementioned Vaskeboinikau.

The Spaniard entered the final table second to last in chips. However, it didn’t take long before he hit a set of eights and doubled out against Quan Zhous pocket kings after getting three streets of value. Zhou eventually busted in sixth and claimed the min-cash (if you can call $156 200 “min”).

Play went on and after a while, Pardo called of fellow Spaniard Vicente Delgado’s bluff and overtook the chiplead. It was at this point Pardo went on an elimination streak. First, he cracked Leon Sturm’s aces after turning a two-pair, seeing Sturm leaving in fifth place. Then, he busted out PokerStars ambassador Sam Grafton after calling off All In with A Q against the UK resident’s K 4 shove. The board 5 7 9 J 2 meant that ace high was good and Grafton bid farewell in 4th.

All Spain Heads Up

The dominance of Pardo kept going and eventually he knocked out Teun Mulder, meaning he was Heads Up against Delgado. The two compatriots decided to do a deal, guaranteeing Pardo $688 560. Heads Up-play commenced and after a shorter roller coaster-ride, Pardo’s A Q survived against Delgado’s A 10 and he claimed the Super High Roller title!

EPT Cyprus 2023 $50 000 Super High Roller Payouts:

3. Teun Mulder$345 900

When talking about live poker, it is hard not to mention Unibet Open, which absolutely should be recognized as a veteran in the business by now. The first ever Unibet Open Main Event were held back in 2007 in Warsaw which saw 120 players competing for the first prize of $65 090, which eventually was claimed by Norwegian Stale Lokse.

Since then, Unibet Open has held multiple events throughout the years, visiting locations such as Madrid, London, Prague, Barcelona, Copenhagen…the list could be made long. Players have eagerly awaited the return of one of the most appreciated live events, and now the wait is over. Unibet Open is back, and this year Bucharest will host a historic comeback event!

Unibet Open 2023

Unibet Open Bucharest 2023 seeks to become bigger and better than ever before. This is the fourth time the event will take over the Romanian capital and the entity of Poker Romania ought to be walking on needles.

The event will be played November 29th – December 3rd at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, and we’re sure treated with an intriguing Unibet Open schedule. There will be high stakes action from the get-go, seeing as day 1 of the €2 000+€200 High Roller will be played the first day. All the poker queens would be very wise to mark December 1st in the calendar when the €100+€10 Ladies Event will commence.

The 4-card lovers will take it to the tables December 2nd, when the €200+€20 Pot Limit Omaha will be played from start to finish. Unibet Open also appears to be up to date with the latest poker trends, seeing as a €500+€50 Mystery Bounty tournament also will commence December 2nd with day 1.

The Main Event

Of course, we also have a thrilling Main Event. The €1 00+€100 tournament has three starting flights with 1A November 30thm and 1B & 1C December 1st, and considering players can make two entries, the prize pool in the Main Event ought to be a juicy one. Qualify for the Unibet Open

There’s hard to imagine anyone not being interested in participating in Unibet Open Bucharest, and now players have the chance qualifying for the Main Event through Unibet’s online poker site. Poker players will compete for packages worth €2 000, including the €1 100 Main Event Buy-In, a four-night stay at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel for two people, as well as €250 towards travel expenses. The weekly €250 qualifiers are played every Sunday on Unibet Poker, with the final one being scheduled for November 19th. What’s more, all qualifiers will be treated with free dinner each night of the event, and will be kitted with Unibet Merchandise. Of course, they will also have access to the Players Party and the opportunity to meet and chat with Unibet Ambassadors.

Even though we’re looking forward for Unibet Open to visit Bucharest, one could argue that there is a Unibet Open Dublin prior to the Romanian edition. Unibet Open are sponsors to the International Poker Open, which will be played in Dublin October 25th-30th.

Unibet Open has for sure earned their reputation as a first-class live poker event organizer, and the fact that they finally are returning to Bucharest is amazing. Good luck to all players participating in the Unibet Open Bucharest 2023!

GGPoker is bringing back its $1 million guaranteed Flip & Go event this November with even more ways to qualify for less than a dollar.

Flip & Go Millionaire made its debut last year and was an immediate success. Over 20,000 players entered the $11 online poker tournament, with many of them exercising their right to multiple buy-ins. The final number of entries topped 100,000, which meant GGPoker wasn’t forced to pay an overlay.

A German who plays under the screen name ‘ifhedieshedies’ managed to make it through the melee and win $54,929. The winner of this year’s Flip & Go Millionaire could bank even more as GGPoker will be running satellites starting at $0.11 from now until November 10.

Two Stages, $1 Million to Play For

The $1 million guaranteed tournament is split into two stages. The first is a straight Flip & Go. Players can qualify or buy in for $11. They’ll be seated at a table and receive three cards. One card must be discarded before everyone’s hand gets turned over and community cards are dealt.

The winner of the hand progresses to the second stage of the tournament, aka the Go Stage. The Go Stage starts on November 11 and plays out like a regular Texas No Limit Hold’em tournament. Each player carries over their stack from the flip stage and the action continues until one remains.

Anyone who makes it to the Go Stage wins a cash prize, but getting there is a matter of fate. Every hand in the Flip Stage is an all-in showdown. The only way of not being eliminated in a single hand is to pay for multiple stacks.

Everyone who qualifies or buys in for the standard $11 gets the baseline starting stack. However, GGPoker is giving players the opportunity to pay for extra stacks. For example, if you pay $33, you’ll receive 3X the standard starting stack.

Anyone who does this when other players at the table have smaller starting stacks will at least survive the first all-in. However, fate eventually takes over and the cards will continue flowing until one player remains. That player gets through the Go Stage where the lion’s share of $1 million is up for grabs.

Flip & Go Fever Grips Poker Community

Flip & Go tournaments have gained in popularity ever since the WSOP joined forces with GGPoker to make them a part of its summer schedule. This, combined with the fact pros don’t have an edge at the start of play, makes Flip & Go Millionaire ideal for online poker novices. Indeed, because everyone gets a cash prize if they make it through a flip, it’s an easy way to win if luck is on your side.

“I’m delighted to confirm the return of Flip & Go Millionaire, an event our players really enjoyed in 2022. This tournament has it all; a huge prize pool, low buy-ins, and it’s convenient for all players. With at least $1,000,000 to be won, expect eleven days of high excitement,” said Sarne Lightman, Managing Director of GGPoker.

Flip qualifiers will run every hour from November 1 to 10. That means you’ll have 240 Flip Stages to enter before play switches on November 11.
