The summer poker season has been anything but dull this year. However, it’s on its last legs this week and it’s time we shift gears and look to fall, starting with 888poker. The poker room is beginning the colder season with the return of its largest online series of the year: the XL Autumn Series 2025.

The series runs from September 21 through September 30 and features over $1.5 million in total guarantees across 55 scheduled tournaments, including a rake-free $500K GTD Mystery Bounty Main Event.

If you’ve played at 888poker, you know the XL Autumn Series is an anchor in its online schedule and this edition is no different. The tournament is leaning into multi-flight formats, mystery bounties, and accessible buy-ins, most of which sit below the $109 mark.

So, let’s see what the XL Autumn Series has in store for the 2025 season.

Rake-Free Main Event and $500K GTD on the Table

To just about no one’s surprise, the standout tournament of the series is the Mystery Bounty Main Event. It comes with $250 buy-in multi-flight, a $500,000 GTD and notably, no rake.

Day 1 flights for the Main Event are well under way and will continue through September 29, when Day 2 also takes place. If all goes as planned, the final table is scheduled for September 30, and will be streamed live on the 888pokerTV Twitch channel.

If the Main Event is too big a bite, there’s also the $25 buy-in Mini version, Event #51, which also follows a multi-flight Mystery Bounty structure and features a $100K guarantee.

XL Autumn Series: A Few Key Highlights

Spanning over 10 days, the XL Autumn Series is going to feature a lot of formats. We’re talking about Mystery Bounty, PKO, Deepstack, and Big Shot events, alongside a few Pot-Limit Omaha options. Noteworthy events outside the Main Event include:

Freerolls, Satellites, and Low-Stakes Access

Parallel with the main schedule, 888poker is also organizing something termed daily XL Autumn Freerolls, which award Main Event tickets at no cost.

Apart from these, there’s also centrolls and low-stakes satellites that start at $0.01, which could be a pretty good way into headline events. Both the $500K and $100K Mystery Bounty tournaments can be accessed through these centrolls, with entries available directly in the 888poker client.

The Main Event Stream and A Few Closing Day Events

As we’ve mentioned, the 2025 XL Autumn Series wraps up on September 30, with several tournaments scheduled alongside the $500K Main Event final table broadcast. These closing Day events include:
