The Wynn Poker Room has announced a new edition of the Wynn Millions Series for next February. This is expected to be the biggest and most important tournament outside the WSOP in Las Vegas. The Main Event guarantees a full $10,000,000 in prize money with a $10,000 buy-in.

The series, which runs from February 21st to March 20th, is now being held for the second time. The event had its premiere from May to July last year and at that time the Main Event easily cracked the 10-million guarantee: 1,328 entries ensured a prize money of almost 12.5 million dollars. At that time, the American Andrew Morena finished first ahead of his compatriot Clayton Maguire and the Brit Toby Lewis.

In addition to the Main Event, the event also offers other tournaments with substantial guarantees. The first big tournament will be a Mystery Bounty event. In this tournament, players will be drawn random bounties. At last year’s tournament, these bounties ranged from 500 to 250,000 dollars. After the Main Event, there will be another Hold’em tournament with a buy-in of 3,500 dollars and a guarantee of 2,000,000 dollars.

The Main Event has 3 starting days and unlike at the WSOP Main Event, re-entries are allowed here – one re-entry per starting day.
