Razz Rookie, Bracelet Pro: Allan Le Wins Again at 2025 WSOP

Some stories write themselves — and this one just happened to land on Father’s Day. Allan Le, a veteran mixed-game grinder from California, secured his second World Series of Poker bracelet in Event #15: $1,500 Razz, capping off a back-and-forth final table that saw him overcome some of the game’s toughest names, including Shaun Deeb, to collect $126,363 and a second career title.

It was Le’s first-ever Razz tournament. It won’t be his last.

Final Table Swings and a Heads-Up Clash with Deeb

The $1,500 Razz event drew 472 players, and after three days of stud-format combat, just nine returned for the final table. Le came in with the chip lead but was far from cruising. He was met with resistance from all angles, including Maxx Coleman, Clint Wolcyn, and a surging Shaun Deeb, who at one point held nearly half the chips in play.

Le chipped up early when he knocked out Jackson Spencer, then collected more ammunition by crippling and eliminating MengQi Chen. But Deeb started to pull away during the mid-game. He built a stack north of five million after making a seven-low against Le and carried that momentum as the field shrank to five.

Jeanne David — who earned her best WSOP finish — bowed out next, followed by Jason Lipiner and Gabriel Ramos. Both Lipiner and Ramos had moments of momentum, but neither could withstand Le’s aggression. With each bustout, Le chipped back up, creating a three-way standoff between Deeb, Wolcyn, and himself.

Wolcyn had his run cut short after dropping a few critical pots to Deeb, and Le finished the job with a made seven-low to enter heads-up play trailing roughly 2:1.

What followed was a short but high-stakes duel between two mixed-game regulars, each with deep resumes. Deeb got the early upper hand, but Le didn’t give ground for long. He took down pot after pot with queen-lows and nine-lows while Deeb kept drawing uncooperative boards. The penultimate hand saw Deeb fill up while Le showed queen-nine. The final hand ended with Le drawing out a seven-six low while Deeb finished with queen-ten.

Game over. Bracelet number two for Le.

🏆 Who Is Allan Le?

Allan Le may not always be in the headlines, but his WSOP track record speaks volumes. His first bracelet came back in 2016 in a Mixed Omaha event. Since then, he’s notched multiple deep runs across the series, often flying under the radar in the crowded mixed-game fields.

Le is part of a poker family dynasty—brothers Nam Le and Tommy Le are both well-known pros—and his own resume now includes two bracelets in two very different formats: Mixed Omaha and Razz.

Away from the tables, Le is a father of three. This bracelet came with a bit of extra meaning, not just for the timing, but for the rail. His wife was on-site, watching from the stands, and seconds after his final bet was called, she had the kids on FaceTime so they could watch their dad celebrate the win.

The bracelet? That one’s for her.
