PokerStars Expands Low Buy-in Megastack to Rest of Europe

The trend of poker sites offering low buy-in poker tournaments around the world isn’t going away.

PokerStars is expanding its popular Megastack series with stops across Europe including Ireland, Belgium, France and Germany.

The Megastack series debuted in London at the Hippodrome Casino in April. The inaugural tournament attracted 520 entries and Sheryl Gershon picked up £11,536 for outlasting all of them. Not a bad return for a £170 buy-in.

London will remain a fixture of the Megastack schedule but the tournaments will also be held in a few lesser-known areas like Gujan-Mestras in France and Namur in Belgium.

Designed for Recreational Players

The majority of Megastack events will take place Friday-Sunday, which should give the weekend warriors plenty of time to win some serious cash.

Megastack tournaments will be the perfect starting point for PokerStars players looking to eventually play PokerStars Festival events or even the prestigious PokerStars Championship tournaments.

In addition PokerStars will offer a wide range of qualifying options for Megastack events in the online client.

As you might expect Megastack tournaments employ a deep stack format, giving players more chips than the average low buy-in tournament.
