EPT Barcelona 2025 Kicks Off Today — PokerListings Is on the Ground

The action begins with the PokerStars Open today (August 18–24), a €1,650 event that serves as the warm-up for what’s to come. Over the next two weeks, Casino Barcelona will host everything from the fan-favorite EPT Main Event to high-stakes showdowns like the €100K Super High Roller.

Here’s a look at the main tournaments on the schedule:

• PokerStars Open: Aug 18–24 – €1,650
• PokerStars Cup: Aug 22–23 – €825
• PokerStars Open High Roller: Aug 23–25 – €2,700
• EPT Super High Roller: Aug 23–25 – €100,000
• EPT Main Event: Aug 24–31 – €5,300
• EPT Mystery Bounty: Aug 27–29 – €3,250
• EPT High Roller: Aug 29–31 – €10,300

The Main Event kicks off August 24 with multiple starting flights and is expected to draw a huge field once again. Last year’s edition hit over 2,000 entries, and with the combination of a prime summer location and a strong tournament offering, there’s every reason to expect another massive turnout in 2025.

Catamarans, Padel, Karaoke, and More

EPT Barcelona isn’t just about cards and chips — it’s one of the most socially packed stops on the tour. The location doesn’t hurt either, with Casino Barcelona sitting right on the waterfront and the rest of the city easily within reach.

Throughout the series, PokerStars is rolling out a full slate of off-the-felt activities for players and guests. These include:

• Catamaran brunch cruises (Aug 21, 23, 28)
• A padel tournament on Aug 20
• The wild “La Casa del Juego” team activity day at a private villa (Aug 22)
• A player football tournament (Aug 27)
• Multiple themed La Taverna nights in the Player Lounge — including karaoke, comedy with Joe Stapleton (Aug 27), and wine tasting (Aug 30)

There are also wellness sessions every morning (Aug 20–29) with yoga, pilates, and a running club — all aimed at keeping players sharp both mentally and physically.

And of course, the legendary Players Party is back, with welcome drinks on August 25 at El Tribut, right on the marina.

Between the poker and the party schedule, EPT Barcelona remains the kind of event that brings everyone out — grinders, recreational players, and fans alike.
