The vast majority of poker players tend to also be sports fans, a poker truism that the constantly tuned in GGPoker was well aware of when coming up with their sports-oriented Bet & Go tournaments, which has just been launched to coincide with the football extravaganza that’s kicking off in Qatar.

Bet & Go: How It Works

The concept addresses the passion so many have for both poker and sports by combining action at Real Money Online Poker tables with action at sporting events.

Each Bet & Go tournament is matched to an upcoming sporting event such as a football or tennis match. Two buy-in options are available, with each determined by the pre-match odds assigned to the respective teams or players. A further Bet & Go twist comes when the sporting event ends, with the surviving players who registered in support of the eventual losing team being automatically knocked out of the poker tournament! To hit the ground running, the first Bet & Go tournament will take place on Sunday, 20 November at the same time as the Qatar vs Ecuador football match, and additional tournaments are scheduled to coincide with matches over the following weeks.
