Quality Engineer Justin Smith Wins The $500 COLOSSUS ($550K)

Justin Smith reached heads-up play against Myles German. The winner was decided in a single hand.

At first glance, it looked like a standard coin flip: AKo versus pocket eights. But on the river, Smith completed a flush to secure the bracelet and the biggest score of his career. Before this victory, he had earned roughly $60,000 in tournament winnings.

The hand sparked debate on social media because the dealer made a mistake: the button received the first card, when the big blind should have been dealt first.
