Joni Jouhkimainen Ends Downswing with Victory in $75K PLO Triton Jeju II ($1,381,000)

Jouhkimainen had played the previous 11 Triton events without a cash, investing around $1M.

The $75K PLO event broke that streak. The final table was extremely dynamic: the 6-max battle lasted almost three hours because the short stacks kept doubling up. At one point the average stack in 6-max dropped to 15 bb, while the chip leader had only 23 bb.

The entire final table played out in this frantic style:

Jouhkimainen dominated this “bingo festival,” reaching heads-up with 50 bb against Danny Tang’s 3 bb. Their one-on-one clash lasted exactly one hand. This is the Finnish PLO pro’s first career Triton title.

Final Table Payouts – $75K PLO (67 entries)
