Americas Cardroom Leads the Way in Promoting Women in Poker
Americas Cardroom has made numerous contributions to real money online poker over the years, and one that deserves a special mention is their constantly endeavouring to promote women in poker.
It’s an imperative that those responsible for helping shape and influence poker do their utmost, and part of encouraging more women to enter what used to be such a male-oriented world is to actually be seen to afford women opportunities that inspire potential recruits to what is a truly fascinating and exciting game.
A few weeks ago ACR hosted an impressive Charity Poker Tournament which, while being commendable, certainly isn’t the extent of this excellent online poker room’s efforts.

Ana Marquez
Ana Marquez (above) was once the top ranked poker player in Spain, and has accumulated around $2 Million in live poker winnings. Having being introduced to poker during her time at American University in Washington, DC she got the bug to the point that she even wrote her Bachelor’s thesis on the history of poker since the 1970s! Katie Lindsay
Katie Lindsay joined the ACR Pro team in November 2021 alongside her husband, the top player, Chris Moorman. With more than one string to her proverbial poker bow, Katie has experienced considerable success both live and online, chalking up over $2 million in online earnings and over a $500,000 playing live. In January 2021, she and her husband made history as the first married couple to go heads-up for a WSOP Gold Ring, with the husband eventually emerging the winner... Ebony Kenney
Joining the Americas Cardroom team in late 2020, Ebony Kenney is a multi-talented, indefatigable character. Pokerwise, she started tasting success in live poker rooms as long ago as 2007, and nowadays is a force to be reckoned with online. A mother, author, dating and confidence coach, social media personality and model, this influential figure is also the founder and CEO of UncagedCollective.com …
Before signing with ACR, Ebony paid $10,000 during the pandemic to play in the All-In for America Celebrity Poker Tournament, which raised $2 Million for USA’s hungry. Monika Zukowicz
Monika Zukowicz is the latest arrival at Americas Cardroom, becoming part of the team in November 2022. The popular poker pro, who hails from Poland, now lives in Vienna, and is already an experienced ambassador for well-known brands. A successful online streamer with thousands of followers, viewers, and subscribers from around the world, Monika mostly streams online poker tournaments but, interestingly, is passionate about live cash games.
