Goodbye, Stud! Hello, 5-Card PLO8!
7-Card Stud was a fixture at the Hi5 schedule for quite some time but that’s now a thing of the past. That doesn’t mean, however, that non-Hold’em players won’t have much to do at the series — three Five-Card Omaha Hi-Lo tournaments will start for them on April 22 at 15:15 EST:
- Hi5 #38 – $30,000 GTD 5C PLO8 6-Max R/A
- Hi5 #39 – $15,000 GTD 5C PLO8 6-Max R/A
- Hi5 #40 – $6,000 GTD 5C PLO8 6-Max R/A
They share the same structure:
- Starting stack: 100,000 chips (100 bb)
- Late Registration: 12 levels
- Rebuys: $200 for 100K chips until level 12. Double rebuys are available
- Add-on: $200 for 150K chips before level 13
- Blind Levels: 1-12 — 15 minutes, 13+ levels — 10 minutes
- Final table rollback to ~30 bb average stack
All three tournaments use the Reshuffle feature.
