SiGMA Returns to Portomaso

Once again, the SPT has chosen Portomaso Casino as its venue. Portomaso has hosted a range of different poker events, from EPTs, The Festival Series, and SiGMA. It is clear to see why. Set in a prime location in the stunning St Julians, featuring a backdrop of breathtaking marina views, Portomaso neighbours The Hilton Malta Hotel and a range of restaurants and bars.

Previous Champions

Last time out in Malta, back in September 2025, Italian national Davide Iannaco secured his first major live title, taking home €28,500 for besting EPT Malta Main Event winner Tomasz Brzezinski heads-up after a marathon session. He triumphed over a field of 411 entries to become the first SiGMA Poker Tour Malta Champion.

More recently, when the tour went to São Paulo, Brazil, the title stayed in the country. Mathias Guimarães claimed the title, outlasting 452 entries to win R$205,000 at the Monte Carlo Poker Club. A Look At The Schedule

The schedule is jam-packed with action for players of a range of bankrolls. As mentioned earlier, the Main Event comes with a €150,000 guarantee. The Day 1 Flights come at an interesting range of prices. 1A is slightly discounted at €200, and 1B-1G are €250. 1A comes with 20-minute-long levels and unlimited reentries for the first 11 Levels. 1B-F comes with 30-minute levels and the same re-entry parameters. 1G is the Turbo Flight, which will feature 15-minute levels. For those wanting to bypass the Day 1 phase, players can buy into Day 2 during the first two levels and will get a stack of 350,000. Below is the schedule in full; all tournaments feature unlimited re-buys until the end of late registration. Registration lasts for 11 Levels, other than in the satellites, which lasts for 8 Levels.

Registration is straightforward. Players can buy in online in advance for the Main Event via the SiGMA Poker Tour website or at the door. There will also be packages available that will include:
