Indeed, the world of real money online poker never stops turning, and today we’re alerting our Pokerlistings community to a tasty promotion at GGPoker which is aimed at giving players in the UK and Ireland a chance to boost their bankroll via a series of Freeroll tournaments.

What’s great about this $2,000 Welcome Freerolls promo is that it’s available not only to first time depositors in these poker-loving countries, but also those players who are still in their first year at GGPoker! This is a nice touch that we hope to see more online poker operators adopt.

$2,000 Welcome Freerolls: How It Works

The promotion continues until and including 26 February, and it couldn’t be simpler – if you’re about to join GGPoker, then an initial deposit of $10 or more is enough to qualify, while for existing GGPoker players can take advantage of the offer by re-depositing a minimum of $20.

The tournaments run every Monday and Thursday at 20:00 GMT, until 27 February, and in order to fit in with poker fans’ busy lives, take only a few hours to complete.

As for the breakdown of the $2,000 prize pools, 99 prizes of at least $10 will be awarded!

Each $2,000 Welcome Freeroll tournament ticket is credited to your account the day after a deposit, and is valid until the last tournament on 27 February 27. Note that you can continue to play these special Freerolls until the end of the promotional period, with each subsequent qualifying deposit of $20 or more earning a new ticket!
