Get Stuck Into the POWERFEST at partypoker
How does this sound - a series of online poker tournaments with buy-ins that start at just €0.50 and €2,000,000 in combined guaranteed prize money? This is exactly what poker fans in Spain and France can look forward to when making the most of partypoker's aptly named POWERFEST...
Running from 26 February right through to 15 March, this feast of tournaments and promotions really is a perfect example of the gift that keeps on giving. Indeed, such events are what real money online poker is all about.
First, let’s have a look at some of the tournament highlights.
A bankroll-friendly approach that has become an admirable feature at partypoker is being repeated once again for the POWERFEST, with the hosting of three separate Main Events that feature different buy-in levels in order to cater for all would-be champions:
- High: €125 buy-in, €250K GTD
- Medium: €30 buy-in, €100K GTD
- Low: €5 buy-in, €50K GTD
Note that the Low edition is low in terms of buy-in only, as €50K GTD is a prize pool worthy of much more costly tournaments.
Meanwhile, there’s so much more to dive into during POWERFEST:
- 26 February: The Big 10 PKO is a fun event with a guaranteed €25,000 on offer as well as 20 €50 Surprise Packages added for various finishing positions!
- 4 Championships events throughout the Series.
- New Deepstack and Turbo PKO Championships.
- The Openers.

Not only will the Championships punctuate the festival with events being held over several days, but the buy-ins will range from €3 to €250. Furthermore, having taken into account feedback from players, partypoker will be adjusting the structure of some events in order to have finishing times that are more convenient.
Finally, this being poker for all, Omaha fans will get a kick out of three Progressive PLO Knockout Main Events: €50 buy-in/€20,000 GTD, €10 buy-in/€10,000 GTD and €3 buy-in/€3,000 GTD!
