The PokerListings Daily 3-Bet is a plastic cup, a slice of lime and no damper to the poker spirit on the rail of the afternoon poker news final table.

Today in the 3-Bet we find Niall Farrell delivering on the rail, Mike Sexton and friends swing to San Jose and the multi-talented David Williams speaks M:TG.
1) Shots 4 the Rail
Given Niall Farrell's general Twitter enthusiasm for Daniel Strelitz's $1m win in the WPT LAPC main event last night we're fairly certain he's both a good pal and had a piece of Strelitz's action.
Regardless of his own personal benefit, though, Farrell certainly did his share to keep the crowd energized:

Having experienced a few rowdy rails in our time we can definitely say they go a long way to #makingpokerfunagain. The only crime here seems be the plastic cups, which you can't fault Farrell for. As he says:
2) All Aboard for San Jose
Speaking of sensational performances at the WPT LAPC final table last night ... WPT icon Mike Sexton nearly turned the whole tour on its head with another stellar showing.

After winning WPT Montreal back in November in inspiring fashion Sexton stormed his way to the final six again yesterday only to see his KK fall to Strelitz's A7 for 4th place.
Still, a remarkable feat for one of the game's legends and one that rockets him up to 2nd in the WPT POY race with 2,000 points.
He won't have to linger long for another opportunity to secure his 2nd WPT title as the tour rolls up to San Jose for the Bay 101 Shooting Star this weekend.
Always one of the most convivial stops on tour it's a blast to follow, which you can starting on Sunday.
Among the Shooting Stars with bounties on their heads this year are Will Kassouf, Kitty Kuo, Phil Hellmuth, Erik Seidel, Survivor 32's Anna Khait, Maria Ho and the man himself, Mike Sexton.
3) From MasterChef to M:TG
2004 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up David Williams is a man of many talents.
Knows his monstrous onslaughts from his heroic interventions.
Beyond his $8.6m in career live tournament earnings, WSOP bracelet and WPT and WCOOP titles, Williams most recently impressed in a realm entirely unrelated to poker -- cooking.
A surprising pick as one of the contestants for the latest season of MasterChef USA, Williams blew the judges away with his impressive home-cooking talents and made it the final 3 before bowing out.
Before both cooking and poker, though, Williams was a Magic: The Gathering ace with several Top 8 finishes on the M:TG pro tour in the late 90s.
He's returned to his roots, so to speak, as a guest commentator for the M:TG Online Championships this weekend. If you can understand any of the incredibly obscure and complex language of M:TG, you'll likely enjoy it. Check it out below:
