Celebrate International Women’s Day with FLIP in a Can’t-Miss GGPoker Event
International Women’s Day (IWD) is just around the corner on Monday, March 8. This is a day when the world celebrates the social, economic, and political achievements of women.
The poker world will also be celebrating IWD as for the second straight year the online giant GGPoker will be combining forces with the women’s poker community at Fantastic Ladies in Poker (FLIP) led by Daiva Byrne with a $25 buy-in charity bounty tournament boasting a $50,000 guarantee.
In addition, GGPoker has been hosting during the first seven days of March the FLIP International Women’s Day Freerolls awarding $1,500 in tournament tickets all week long with the final freeroll taking place on Sunday, March 7 at 8 p.m. GMT.
Join the Action in the $50,000 GTD International Women’s Day Bounty Celebration
The International Women’s Day Bounty Celebration kicks off at 7 p.m. GMT on March 8 and boasts a tasty $50,000 prize pool for just a $25 buy-in.
The tournament boasts an amazing structure with players starting off with 10,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 10 minutes.
Each player will start with a $6 bounty on their head and this will increase as they eliminate players due to the tournament’s progressive bounty format.
This is not all as 10 nominated women will have a bounty on their heads. Eliminate any player highlighted in blue, purple, or yellow and you will be awarded a ticket to the $5 million GTD GGMasters Overlay Edition, which boasts a $150 buy-in, on March 20.

You will be doing your part by just playing in the International Women’s Day Bounty Celebration as $1 from each buy-in will be donated to international women’s charities and initiatives. GGPoker has stepped it up even more by promising to add an additional $10,000 from its own pockets to the charitable donations.
