Second Harman SPCA charity event to hit the felt

The five diamond Venetian will play host for the event.

On April 18 the Venetian will host the second annual Jennifer Harman SPCA No-Limit charity event, with last year's event setting the bar by having raised $130,000.

The tournament itself is a No-Limit Hold'em event with a recommended donation of $300+$30 to participate. There are optional $200 re-donations for extra chips during the first three 20-minute rounds, and a $200 last chance add-on.

The winner of the event takes home a seat for the 2008 Jerry Yang, Marco Traniello, Freddy Deeb, T.J. Cloutier and Doyle Brunson.

Along with the live auction, a silent auction will be held by Triumph Sports allowing participants to bid on a variety of mainly sport-oriented memorabilia, including:

  • A "Pete Rose & Jennifer Harman" dinner package with all proceeds going to the Nevada SPCA
  • A Joe Montana "Stephen Holland" limited-edition framed giclee print
  • A Muhammad Ali & Joe Frasier limited-edition framed photo
  • An "I'm sorry I bet on baseball" official baseball autographed by Pete Rose
  • Official helmets and memorabilia signed by Dan Marino, Dick Butkus, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Emmit Smith, Bill Parcels, Phil Simms, LT Adams, Joe Montana, Joe Namath, John Elway, Ladainian Tomlinson, Fred Biletnikoff and Jim Plunkett

The tournament is open to the public, but seating is limited. To reserve a seat in the tournament, visit, or call Lisa Wheeler at (702) 327-7250.
